the computers are just normal computers. i assume adding the MACs to the MAC table (arp -s IP MAC) to the servers might work. But i know that a bad thought

exactly what u suggested- things are with the ARP table... PCs dont seem to have an idea about their own MACs :p

thats right. but this changes in the case a switch is used in between the router and the other machines in the LAN
