@user21 Hi! yes, please. Could you upload it to Github?
Apr 5, 2016 22:10
Could someone verify if the PackageData link to Ruebenko's Imtek Mathematica Supplement is functional? I'm not able to download the package
Apr 2, 2016 08:28
At first I thought that a "pancake pile" of equal 2D configs should work.But I was wrong.
Apr 2, 2016 08:26
I'm still trying to figure out how to use it in 2D
Apr 2, 2016 08:25
I have the 3D software working now but ...
Apr 2, 2016 08:25
@J.M. I'm using Watershed & Distance transform. That gives me an additive distance. That's why those aren't polygons
Apr 2, 2016 07:58
Apr 2, 2016 07:58
@J.M. First power distance Voronoi tessellation, just out of the box:
Apr 1, 2016 03:37
Apr 1, 2016 03:36
@J.M. I got it. Not so obvious :(
Apr 1, 2016 03:36
@halirutan Thanks a lot. I also forgot to search by filetype :(
Apr 1, 2016 02:34
see you!
Apr 1, 2016 02:33
@J.M. Well, I go for a cold beer. Too much Voronoi for a day! Thanks again!
Apr 1, 2016 02:31
@J.M. Well,we don't have TB/s here, you know
Apr 1, 2016 02:30
@J.M. Ha! Just arrived. Thanks a lot!
Apr 1, 2016 02:29
Do you pay by traffic?
Apr 1, 2016 02:28
@J.M. Of course, no problem. But if it is too expensive I can always stress Google harder
Apr 1, 2016 02:21
@J.M. If that doesn't bother you,please
Apr 1, 2016 02:19
@J.M. :D Do you have another link to that article? There is a paywall there ...
Apr 1, 2016 02:17
I haven't touched Fortran since version four :)
Apr 1, 2016 02:15
@J.M. Of course, but I don't like to bother authors with stupid questions. I will go through his code tomorrow
Apr 1, 2016 02:14
@J.M. He just coped the mPower docs. Unhelpful
Apr 1, 2016 02:13
I had to make it work
Apr 1, 2016 02:13
@J.M. Because the Mma interface author didn't understand the output.
Apr 1, 2016 02:12
In some incomprehensible way of course
Apr 1, 2016 02:11
those eigth numbers are the cubes' vertex
Apr 1, 2016 02:10
@J.M. They are "cubes".I found a comment in a 10 KLOC program
Apr 1, 2016 02:09
that's the triangulation
Apr 1, 2016 02:08
What "power diagram"? It spits out this sh*t
Apr 1, 2016 02:08
gosh
Apr 1, 2016 02:07
`nt -> 11, icfig -> 6, iwfig -> 6,
icon -> {{0, 4, 9, 10, 7, 6, 5, 8}, {0, 7, 8, 5, 3, 2, 5, 4}, {0, 9,
0, 11, 7, 9, 10, 8}, {0, 7, 0, 1, 7, 8, 5, 3}, {0, 0, 2, 0, 3, 2,
1, 5}, {11, 0, 0, 7, 4, 5, 7, 9}, {6, 4, 8, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7}, {0, 0,
2, 7, 3, 4, 7, 2}, {0, 10, 1, 3, 7, 8, 10, 6}, {0, 11, 1, 9, 7,
6, 10, 5}, {3, 0, 10, 6, 5, 7, 9, 10}},
is -> {5, 8, 8, 8, 11, 10, 11, 9, 11, 11}}`
Apr 1, 2016 02:07
Out
Apr 1, 2016 02:07
points = Flatten[
Table[{{1, 0, i}, {0, 1, i}, {1, 1, i}, {0, 0, i}, {2, 0, i}}, {i,
4}], 1]
Apr 1, 2016 02:02
@J.M. I was trying to look at that now, but for the delaunay triang that should be clearer
Apr 1, 2016 01:59
but I can't figure out how they are related to the tetrahedron's edges and faces
Apr 1, 2016 01:58
@J.M. those sets of eight integers are the coordinates of the vertex of certain "cubes".
Apr 1, 2016 01:55
@J.M. Import["http://goo.gl/NaH6rM"]["https://i.sstatic.net/UXR2v.png"]
Apr 1, 2016 01:52
But the docs are useless and the output is berserk
Apr 1, 2016 01:51
@J.M. Now (after toiling a lot) I have this working
Apr 1, 2016 01:49
No Mma code anywhere.Ha!
Apr 1, 2016 01:48
@J.M. have been peeping code from Voronoi packages and it is frightening hard
Apr 1, 2016 01:47
I'm trying with Watershedcomponents and DistanceTransform. Got a more or less working thing. But agan: too slow
Apr 1, 2016 01:46
@J.M. I think it is too difficult for a good question :(
Apr 1, 2016 01:45
@J.M. yes, I already have a working program, using nearest. But it is way too slow
Apr 1, 2016 01:44
@J.M. additively weighted power Voronoi tessellations, to be precise
Apr 1, 2016 01:41
@J.M. Yup
Apr 1, 2016 00:56
@halirutan BTW, got it working. The problem now is that I can't understand the results! ha!
Apr 1, 2016 00:54
@halirutan Don't forget that the laziness factor is also in the equation, and squared
Mar 31, 2016 20:45
@halirutan Yeah,well. I don't want to implement my own power distance algo!
