*step in on
Apr 14, 2015 11:04
Could one of you guys step on on the amount of irrelevant tags being added by one of our users? Rejecting is getting a bit ridiculous. Adding 'Samsung' or whatever adds nothing, and is the majority of edits I'm seeing lately! Thanks!! I've to run to a meeting now, sorry to hit and run.

Good morning, looks like we're getting hammered with the same question about "Brendon's URL"
Apr 15, 2014 15:18
it's wrong!
Apr 15, 2014 15:18
I've hit the 'old' category! These new fenagled smart doodads with the screens and their beeping
Apr 15, 2014 15:17
He was a no sales guy! He was probably right though in my case
Apr 15, 2014 15:17
As Douglas Adams said when you are young technology is part of the world, as an adolescent and in your younger years you love it as it is new and bleeding edge, when you are old it is against nature and wrong!!
Apr 15, 2014 15:16
I've now reached the age where glass doesn't seem cool and exicting but scary and invasive!
Apr 15, 2014 15:16
Irish sales staff.... bluntly honest
Apr 15, 2014 15:16
o..k....
Apr 15, 2014 15:15
Although I admire the sales guy I met today. "If you have an S4 don't get an S5, and those watches are rubbish too so don't waste your time" :)
Apr 15, 2014 15:15
I don't think I'll be forking that over
Apr 15, 2014 15:15
1500 dollars? woah
Apr 10, 2014 14:12
Brilliant, thanks Dan!
Apr 10, 2014 13:50
... I don't know... Someone linked me the comments with markup. The 'Please <a href="blah> edit </a> your question etc
Apr 10, 2014 13:30
Hi everyone, where is the list of reasons for potentially closing a thread again? You know the ones: Hi, welcome to Android Enthusiasts, unfortunately app recommendations etc. with the HTML markup
Mar 14, 2014 12:32
it just keeps hapening. A generic reply to "if it is not a stable build expect a ton of bugs"
Mar 14, 2014 12:32
We need a section here dedicated to: Non stable CyangenMod has bugs.
Mar 13, 2014 12:00
hope all you guys are well. My health is... dreadful so I'll be in and out of here a bit less for a bit sadly, but I do get great satisfaction / relief in helping people with their phone related dilemmas! :)
Mar 13, 2014 11:58
aha, adding a comment helped :) sorted.
Mar 13, 2014 11:43
Is there some system in place for 0% accept rate people or something. I know it's a bit petty but it's annoying me. I'd like to know if the time I took out of my day helped, and if it could help other people with a similar question.
Mar 13, 2014 11:43
why do I bother writing long answers for people who won't accept an answer at all, or let me know if it actually worked? Sigh
Feb 27, 2014 13:02
@t0mm13b congrats :)
Feb 27, 2014 13:02
hey tommyb just passed 10k! nice
Feb 27, 2014 12:59
They don't scan the content of the apps, they just have a list of 'Bad' 'Poetntially bad' and 'good' apps really and match against that. If it sees 'com.android.rossc.dodgyapp' it alerts you to the level of risk it has
Feb 27, 2014 12:58
"This comment has an app, download now to view content"
Feb 27, 2014 12:57
I find android 'anti virus' to be sketchy at best
Feb 27, 2014 12:56
what's the app?
Feb 26, 2014 12:18
afternoon everyone!
Feb 21, 2014 17:51
I haven't! I'll read up now on the bus! Thanks
Feb 21, 2014 16:03
man the rep requirements are huge on some things here, tried 'review' there, not much can be done < 2k :|
Feb 21, 2014 15:42
:) sounds good to me! I'd be delighted to see something newer and more efficient!
Feb 21, 2014 15:23
just alternatives that aren't as intuative. I miss the old days when you could write a text from inside your pocket without looking at the phone
Feb 21, 2014 15:22
I agree entirely, but at the moment it is like the mouse: we need somthing better, but nothing has been better
Feb 21, 2014 15:21
SwiftKey is the first app I ever paid for. And it was worth it
Feb 21, 2014 15:18
That auto correct one is melting my head. Google Keyboard annoys me something fierce these days
Feb 21, 2014 15:08
:) thanks!
Feb 21, 2014 14:50
I've given a slightly wordier answer than "damn touchwiz"
Feb 21, 2014 14:44
"touchwiz" is the problem I'd wager, again!

Q: Galaxy Note 3 - Is there a way to add more apps to use when drawing a 'Pen Window'?

Petay87Is there a way to add more applications in the list that appears when you press the button on the S-Pen and select "Pen Window" to draw a floating application? It would be really nice if you could open a floating twitter or Facebook application.

Feb 21, 2014 14:44
Seems like the same question again:
Feb 21, 2014 14:36
Lovely device
Feb 21, 2014 14:36
Thanks for that comment @Izzy instant accept from the OP! He's getting to grips with is Note 3 by the looks of it
Feb 21, 2014 14:33
Yeah I hear that!
Feb 21, 2014 14:17
@Izzy yeah that's the main issue, BUT I've got google logged in now so that'll be ok termporarily!
Feb 21, 2014 12:55
Yeah that makes WAY more sense, but I just have the FB one
Feb 21, 2014 12:50
:) brilliant @DanHulme thanks so much
Feb 21, 2014 12:49
Ok, cool. I'm there, there's a 'google' option that I could use, but the botton doesn't work. My office uses IE8... :( I'll see waht I can do
Feb 21, 2014 12:47
Ah Ok, that's a bit of a pity, but sure might just do that
Feb 21, 2014 12:45
I can't log in to those sites :| it's a bit of a catch 22
