@wizzwizz4 while I 'understand' - one of the things I miss about SE rolling their own (everything) is you didn't rely on external resources if things went poof

After changing a few lines in xorg.conf, I can no longer boot Ubuntu (I assume it breaks when trying to load up X), so I need a way to boot into a single-user mode. However, there seems to be zero guides on the Internet how to do it, because they all assume I can actually edit files on my compute...
