Haven't blogged for about two/three years now. Kind of rusty. Plus, it's like too much posting on the blog as it is it feels like you could burn out

@KronoS: My next drive as I spoke with @IvoFlipse in the Google Doc comment is going to be on the SSD writes, using Resource Monitor and/or Process Monitor to figure out what is written to a lot and then Junction Points to link things to a second drives to prevent excessive writes to the SSD.

Not only to prevent going through the write cycles (which I've only used 0.2% of in 1 year) but also to free room on the SSD because of it's small size so that other things can close quickly.

I think it would be most logic to start each posts with the easier things and end with the more advanced things in case further troubleshooting of performance is necessary.

So, in short: I expect to write the SSD post this weekend, a more general post on performance next week (what is my windows doing right now?) as I'm still awaiting the Soluto download thus I haven't tried it yet, then I will probably jump towards the Gaming Blog to get (depeding on others, a part of) Portal II covered and then the week after I can write the post about boot and the Soluto release would probably not be far from that.

I might need to revise this as the new features could most likely not be boot related, but I have at least something to write about till after Portal.

Perhaps I can write another less long blog post in between the general post on performance and Portal, we'll see...
