I just reached level 30 and unlocked the ability to buy elite skills. There appear to be 5 choices, but only 4 of them are able to be purchased. The last one, Mistfire Wolf, gives no explanation as to why I can't buy it. How can I buy this skill?

So I've been playing for a while now, and I assume that there is the possibility of naval trade, since there are missions to reduce the risk on certain routes, but I don't know when naval trade is unlocked. Any clues?

There is a pissant turboprop plane stuck at the end of the runway, leaning at a 30 degree angle from the ground because one of the wheels of it's landing gear collapsed.

And they cannot move it without siphoning it's fuel for some reason.

And since it is at the intersection of both runways here, the plane I am supposed to take to leave here is unable to land here.

One of the problems with the review queue is people clicking “Looks good” all the way through just so they can get a badge. Who would do such a thing? [Spoiler alert: We will talk about the review queue for a really long time.] …

Q: How does the Wii U tablet communicate with the TV?

During the initial console setup, you have the option to enable some basic TV controls on the tablet. How does the Wii U "talk" to the TV when it's connected over HDMI? Is the TV controls sent over HDMI-CEC or does the tablet use an IR-blaster to send the signal?

@GraceNote The latter. I can almost see it for beta sites to help with SE's evaluation of whether or not the site should continue on, but nothing ever seems to come out of it. Completely lost on its purpose for launched sites, since there doesn't seem to be any danger at all of a launched site getting shut down, or if there is, there are going to be warning signs far larger than comments on a meta question

@MarkTrapp It's less for shutting down, more for graduation evaluation.

It's one of several review things we do ourselves when we check out a site and think "Is this big enough and successful enough, yet?". It's not much of a measure for if a site is dragging its feet.

@GnomeSlice No, Sasha (aka "Minigun") is the default. But yeah, they broke it by making the slow-down effect last a lot shorter than it did before.

They've changed the slow mechanic at least 3 different times, and the last time left it next to useless.

I swear, every time the Heavy gets a decent alternative to his Minigun, Valve nerfs it so the Minigun is better. Tomislav being the latest one they did that to.

Incidentally, there are only 4 Miniguns in the game. (5 if you count the Iron Kurtain, which is the standard Minigun with a different look)

Or 12 if you count all the special versions of the standard minigun

It's a mini-gun with a (brown/red/silver/gold/black/transparent) skull / Christmas lights on it!

@Powerlord I don't think they want any to be definable 'better' than the others in any way, they want each weapon to be equal so that players can pick one depending on what abilities they like, and not because one is better than the others.

@GnomeSlice Natascha used to do 25% less damage and slowed the people you hit with it down by 25%. Now, it does 25% less damage, takes 50% longer to spin up, and slows people you hit with it down by 10%ish.

Tomislav definitely needed a nerf, as it would spin up 70% faster, do 25% less damage, and didn't make any spin noise when it was spun up. Now, it spins up 25% faster, does 25% less damage, makes no noise when it's spun up, and is bugged so that it makes a repeated firing noise if you stop shooting but keep it spinning... to every player EXCEPT the player equipped with it.

I'm guessing at percentages for the Tomislav as I can't view the TF2 wiki at the moment.

25% faster spinup is after its second nerf. It was 40% after the first nerf.

I find it funny that Valve nerfs miniguns, but then decides to give Pyros the shotgun that mini-crits airborne targets and increases weapon switch speed... a weapon that was originally for the Soldier. As Soldier, it takes skill to knock a player into the air as you have to hit the ground near them without actually hitting them. As a Pyro, it takes... a single right-click when they're at medium to close range.
