@Feeds Seems like some reward system outside SE that is applied on top of SE. Like an external bounty where you get different unicorn points. From what I saw in the video, might be some cryptocurrency. Dunno.
It's not...bad. In theory. Maybe a decent usecase for an NFT - I think you can just give some post a bounty stackpoints and then the owner should be able to claim them if they join the platform. It's just going to suffer a lot from low adoption rate, I believe.
Also, from trying to build this system on top of a decade+ old other system.
Overall I don't think this app will have a lot of success. But the idea of it might be sound. I think. I'm going off what I think I saw from the two minutes of the video I watched.

@VLAZ hmm, there is no upfront money exchange needed, right? they might earn something by selling your profile data to a data broker.

I don't know how you earn the unicorn points, TBH. The video did show signing in with your SE account, so presumably they can use it to get some data for you.
OK, checked the X link and doesn't open (well, I don't have an account, and it asks me to log in). The only information I can actually see is in the YouTube description and it claims it gives crypto tokens based on reputation. So...don't really know. It kind of feels more like a scam now. I mean in the sense of trying to kickstart this new currency and sell it off to somebody before it implodes.
