> New Zealand authorities on Tuesday launched a battle for custody of an infant whose parents are blocking life-saving surgery because blood donors may have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

...

Around 150 anti-vaccination protesters were outside the court in Auckland on Tuesday to voice support for the family.

@Jolenealaska well in a sane world with people full of principles Warnock should have won by a landslide

I've had that thought a hundred times today
Unbelievable how close we came to 6 years of Senator Walker. The abortion crap was like reliving the Access Hollywood bus over and over again.

not because i think Democrats are the only good ones, just that even die hard traditionally family values conservative should have seen Walker and worked out he's a lying hypocrite
like yeh, there's Trump, but then there "i am against all abortion" and then get caught paying for an abortion for his mistress because he already has too many children outside of his marrage

Not even "even die hard traditionally family values conservative", I truly don't understand how they especially wouldn't be able to stomach Walker. I mean I seriously don't get it.
Going to church on Sunday was required in my family while I was growing up, so I coped by becoming the fourth-grade Sunday school teacher. It got me out of services and was pretty fun cuz I enjoyed the kids. I did that all through high school.
As a result, I'm wicked good at bible trivia.
I'm going somewhere with this...

I never felt hypocritical because I treated the stories, songs, and bible verses kind of like Animaniacs
It didn't matter that I didn't have any spiritual connection with any of it.
I'm going down a ridiculous rabbit hole. NVM

Fortune: Elon Musk’s tweet confirms he’s added staff beds at Twitter HQ—but insists he’s just helping ‘tired employees’.

This man should be in jail
This is just fucked, add should be illegal
Yet the Tesla bros will come out defending him saying "It's his company! Leave if you don't like it!"
And I'm sure those people would have said the exact same thing during the civil rights movement of the 60s... Just leave the country if you hate it here!

@Wipqozn i don't buy that cop out, more so when it comes to the office spaces as this was mentioned on the Phillip DeFranco show yesterday
09:40 - Remote Work Guts City Downtowns and Office Buildings
we're gamers and we hear about Crunch in the games industry. having employees sleep in the office so they can work longer hours would surprise none of us when it comes to game and we're sensible enough to know that people like Musk would gladly want that aswell
not to mention Musk has already expressed his "support" for work from home
