I'm amused by the fact that the datasheet specifically says that the PIO can "implement a wide variety of interfaces" (italics are not mine, that's actually what it says)
they had to emphasize how cool and neat the PIO is
(it is very cool and neat imo)

...

well, at least they SELL IPHONE AS WELL UNLOCKED

> back up until both balls touch
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

barely a few paragraphs in and there's this gem:
> It may be apparent that, to make a system which is so user-friendly is going to mean a lot of work behind the scenes for the developer.
spittin fax

... where are you getting these

12:44 AM
well that was a screenshot from a video
but the others are just pictures I've taken over the last year

Help, I have a bad idea and I need you guys to talk me out of it
So, y'know, I just got back from the MCR concert in San Antonio and it's one of the coolest things I've ever done
Well, a month from now, shortly after my birthday, they've got another concert in Houston
It's 4 hours from here, and the tickets are all resale ones for $500
But I...I kinda wanna
And sure, it's technically illegal for my to drive home after since it'd be past midnight and I'm under 18
And I'd have to miss a day or two of school
But...I kinda wanna
Can someone destroy me with facts and logic please
All my like, logical thinking at first screamed "no you brainless fuck, that's not practical and you don't need to go", but the more I think about it, the more alluring the idea is and the more I start to stop caring about the disadvantages because...I kinda wanna

1:11 AM
Ah shit there's good tickets in Dallas still and they're cheaper (and better)
It's the day after, just as far, so still a day of school missed, but...I kinda wanna
Help

@RadvylfPrograms ya that sound stupid, u gonna regret. also fuel hella expensive so like dont go
thats the best i can do lol
:P

1:32 AM
@AidenChow It'd be the other way, actually. I'd seriously regret not going :p
And it'd be less than $50 in gas

@RadvylfPrograms uhhhhh.... maybe u can go some other time?

Maybe, but maybe not. They're getting close to 50, and musicians don't tend to have long life spans
And I'm sure they're planning on another tour at some point, but what if they disband again? Definite, though not hugely likely, possibility, I think
And San Antonio was hands down the most fun I've ever had. If I could do that twice I would chop one of my hands off for it.

okok but like schools pretty important right
its like education and all

Sure, but I think once in my entire life I deserve to be able to skip a day to do something I love, especially a week after my birthday
And it's not like I really pay too much attention in class in the first place
(I think I'm too stubborn for this "talk me out of xyz" thing...)

@RadvylfPrograms or maybe im just bad at arguing lol

1:53 AM
I guess the question is, would I get seat tickets again, or go for a GA/pit ticket
The second would be more expensive, but if I'm going to go twice, I feel like I should vary it up. Y'know, get the full experience.
It would be over $600 once fees are taken into account, and there'd be a whole lot of waiting beforehand so I can get a good spot, tho

@RadvylfPrograms just consider this: the sequel is rarely as good as the original
That's not to say a sequel can't be just as good/better
that's just to say that some of the magic of attending a concert for the first time will be lost the second time

Okay so what am I supposed to do now lol
Last night was like, the coolest thing I've ever experienced and now I'm just supposed to like
do homework
in regards to that, be careful not to get all your concert euphoria all at once
save your dessert for later
if there's one thing portal 2 chapters 8 and 9 taught me, it's that you need to scratch your itch gradually

@lyxal "desert" lolol

broooo the worst thing just happened to my schedule
school schedule
so basically im taking apeng at school right
and i was feeling pretty good cuz i got the easy teacher at my school
then suddenly
they change my schedule and give me the fucking hardest and strict teacher
and to rub salt in the wound, my friend who originally got the hard teacher got switched to the easy teacher
and now im sad and mad

@emanresuA lol u make that?

Summertime is good holy frick
I heard it live and I guess that's when I realized that
I've heard it a few times and not really liked it, but wow, it's good
Reminds me of The Kids from Yesterday a bit

move this to MCR(?) room please

Not a huge Danger Days fan, but Bulletproof Heart and DESTROYA are awesome, and I guess I can add Summertime to that list
Vampire Money, Party Poison, etc. aren't really what I listen to them for, but Vampire Money was definitely fun to hear live

you are aware that I have never heard these songs in my life

And I'm not talking to you in particular, m8

well I am, m9
oh hey fun fact: this $10 plasma globe I got doesn't attach the glass globe to the plastic base with glue or anything, it's just pressure-fit
so you can just fukin lift it off and expose high-voltage wires right there for the touching

9:19 PM
Our Lady of Sorrows was way more fun than I thought it'd be. Almost like Teenagers.
The "Take / My fucking hand"s definitely have the same energy as Teenagers' chorus
Oh apparently they've played it quite a lot this tour

10:19 PM
TIL there was a nation-wide 55 MPH speed limit in the US about half a century ago

.-.

That would add like, an hour and a half to a trip from Austin to Houston or Dallas

10:39 PM
be sure to keep in mind that everyone speeds anyway

11:26 PM
TIL that while dragging the YouTube video position scrollbar thingy you can drag upwards and it'll "zoom in" so you can choose where to start playing from more precisely
