I am writing a report about a lunch party related to Thanksgiving for someone else (Thanksgiving is not celebrated in India AFAIK)..
It would be nice if you can suggest me some ideas..
So far, I came up with this..
"Thankfulness is the quickest path to joy.”

Celebrations for the Thanksgiving Day was filled with joy and happiness. The staff of XYZ High School arranged a lunch party of various cuisines around the world.
@BeastOfCaerbannog I am actually writing a report (for someone else) about a lunch party which happened in the US for a thanksgiving party. various food cuisines were there in the party it seems..
iranian food has amazing rice and uses lots of herbs like dill, methi, parsley etc... italian food has pasta, olive oil, tomatoes, basil... Mexican food has rice, black beans, chillies, crema, coriander leaves, churros... Jamaican food has patties, fried plantain, rice n peas, lots of curry... Ethiopian food has lots of dals and fermented teff pancakes (injera)...
Celebrations for the Thanksgiving Day was filled with joy and happiness. The staff of XYZ High School arranged a lunch party of various cuisines around the world. The spice of the Indian food, the buttery flavour of the Greek feta cheese, tasty Mexican tacos and burritos, Italian pizza, yummy Chinese noodles and various other food items made the feast fantabulous.
@Algnis Then what is it that you don't like? You can use another flavor if you wish. Other distros are not so much different. Unless you have specific needs, the most obvious difference is the package manager.
@Algnis Yeah. Been there, done that. I would also like to change, to a rolling distribution perhaps, but I really want to continue helping here (and also get help).
I'm facing an issue with screen flickering that appears randomly, several times per hour of uninterrupted work. After a mouse drag, it goes away, but I'm troubled with reasons for such behavior.
Some time ago, in addition to this issue, a single transparent blob appeared near the display's edge.

You know... it's really, really frustrating to have someone just constantly asking for more and more and more and never even bothering to say "thanks". — Catija ♦2 mins ago
I guess every time I had an opportunity to interact with a CM, I have messed up 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Ooops... You should be more careful with the way you ask for something from now on. You may have good intentions (I'm sure you do), but the way someone talks over the internet (and in actual life) is very important. For example, if you want a glass of water you can say: "Give the water" or "Could you please give me the water?" The point in both cases is exactly the same, but the first can be considered rude. I think we have talked about that in the past.
as BeastOfCaerbannog says, what really comes across as polite is phrasing your request hypothetically, like "could you ... ?" or "would you mind ... ?"
