@SimplyBeautifulArt Well, whatever your reason, the fact is that your statement "there are no exponential functions involved in the definition of a cardioid" is simply not true. There are exponential functions involved, via the identity $e^{ix} + e^{-ix} = 2\cos{x}$

@cpiegore If you're not concerned with the definition of the cardioid and do not have an actual math question, then there's really nothing more to say concerning the matter on this site, other than that you're barking up the wrong tree.

If you actually wanted to understand something concerning this, you should post a question like I suggested. If you do so, you would likely learn much more than trying to continue this conversation, and you would probably find the answer to your question either way.
