Q: Should blanket changes in terminology across posts be reverted?

I got a notice earlier this evening that another user had edited a 7-year-old answer of mine, replacing the term Hawaiian earring...

I count 21 edits to make, at ~3 a day, that's about 3 weeks. Although some of them are Question+Answer groups, which can be done at the same time
