More details can be found in these posts: Automatically determine tags while writing a question How are “Suggested Tags” chosen? I will quote p...

I am aware that it did not get much support here (score only +7). But still I'll ask the mods what they think about such suggestion.
Would something like that be an option? Or possibly, could it be tried as an experiment - and if it does not work well, then deactivated again?
I think this can be interesting here. But I would like to know what the suggested tags are at first. Namely, I want to be able to test this algorithm before we unleash it on the unsuspecting newcomers. — Asaf Karagila ♦ Mar 15 '18 at 9:18
The way I understand it, the quality of suggested tags depends on the set of questions on which it is trained. I am aware that many questions on Mathematics are not tagged correctly - but I do not think that the situation is terrible, either.
On [meta.so] there are 12 questions tagged suggested-tags - some of them are complaints that it does not work well. (I do not think that this feature is enabled on some other site.)
