@lila My Felix cat drinks my bath water. Even if it's hot. Even if it has foam or oils in it. Cats are not so smart 😂

@RichieACC Reminds me of the one time Chester sauntered into the bathroom when I was in the tub. He was literally shocked and obviously questioned my sanity.

@RichieACC Hi, that's exactly what I meant - they think they are smart, but they really aren't. I believe it works fine in nature, but cat's ancestors had never been exposed to this hot bath water with foam and oils in nature, so I guess it creates a supernormal stimulus that exploits your cat's cognitive process. It's a lot like light attracting nocturnal bugs - they all evolved without artificial lighting, they are all mistaking it for the Moon and trying to navigate using light.

@RichieACC And treating artificial lighting as if it was moonlight in Moon-based navigation yields nonsense results that remind me of how long ago, as a child, I tried to read the time from my home-made sundial, but it was after the sunset and the sundial was illuminated by a desk lamp :D and I didn't understand the nonsense reading; as a child, I also wasn't as smart as I thought I was ^.^

@CaldeiraG Nice and I especially like how there is a whole spectrum of colors in the aquarium! Crimson plants, dark green plants, light green plants, yellow-green plants, golden plants, yellow fish, white fish, white substrate light-brown branch, dark-brown plecostomus fish, eerie blue glow of the lighting visible on top near the surface.

@lila good thing that German loos are different from US loos - no tempting bowl permanently half full. He did inspect it once, was told off, decided he’d seen enough.

@Stephie Haha I didn't know that they have it like that in USA or even that half-full toilets like that were a thing, I see it the first time and it looks so weird; I always assumed cats drinking water from normal toilets.
