@Stormblessed he'll try and take all the credit while blaming it's previous falls on Obama and people will fall for it
@TimStone i saw the press briefing where reporters brought this up. the current Propaganda Mouth Piece (whatever her name is) is going "what about Joe Scarborough joking about murdering people on TV, go ask him"
and also pressing that because it isn't an "original Trump thought" it's totally fine for the President to say
so when the President starts tweeting Flat Earth or QAnon stuff, don't worry, it's not an original thought of his so he's allowed to be an echo chamber for nut jobs and give them validity (i hate this timeline)

12:52 AM
@TimStone lol, and said press briefing it was said he didn't

@Memor-X oh lol I misunderstood it — I thought the quote was saying the Internet Archive modified it to help him lie rather than it exposed the lie

@Memor-X just delete it you cowards

2:51 AM
@Elise 4chan was a mistake

you... just figured that out? :P

@Elise no, just hard to tell if the mistake is 4chan, 2chan for giving birth to it, or the internet in general

christ the first line just goes to show how much of a dick move this is
> Alberta's energy minister says it's a good time to build a pipeline because public health restrictions limit protests against them.

@PrivatePansy ... That's satire, right?

1 hour later…
2:49 PM
@Nzall yeah Petri’s columns are satire

3:18 PM
wow
> In an exclusive USA TODAY/Ipsos poll, 1 in 5 teachers say they are unlikely to go back to school if their classrooms reopen in the fall, a potential massive wave of resignations. While most teachers report working more than usual, nearly two-thirds say they haven't been able to properly do their jobs in an educational system upended by the coronavirus.
> A separate poll of parents with at least one child in grades K-12 finds that 6 in 10 say they would be likely to pursue at-home learning options instead of sending back their children this fall. Nearly a third of parents, 30%, say they are "very likely" to do that.
wow wow. Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised; I'm definitely in the group of parents seriously concerned about whether my 9th grader really ought to be sitting in a crowded high school classroom

@Stormblessed It's weird to me that Warren is more favourable among blacks compared to two black women. (You can quibble on whether Harris is black or mixed race, but she says she's black.)

5:36 PM
@Nzall No, obviously this is a conspiracy by America's scientists to Make America Lumpy Again

5:51 PM
@MBraedley yeah I do wonder why
I doubt that the "KAMALA IS A COP!!" message got to that many people but maybe it's because she was a prosecutor?
Harris and Warren have very similar name ID, I'd assume
but I bet the real reason is that they want big structural change and Warren is a lot more explicitly focused on that — their Senate voting records are rather similar but Warren's slogan was "I've got a plan for that" while Kamala's was pretty normal mainstream Dem stuff

6:13 PM
I think Warren has slightly better national name ID than Harris, and both most certainly have better name ID than Abrams.

1 hour later…
7:15 PM
Well.... its not defamatory if its true.
And McConnell actually is a big bag of farts, so...

I want this to go to court now, and watch the big reveal as the lawyer pulls on the trenchcoat to reveal... gasp a big bag of farts

its not a defamation case anyway; its just Fox News stirring the pot in defense of their Lord and Savior, Emperor Trump

@TimStone LOL at one of the replies: "Androids don't need masks"

2 hours later…
9:42 PM
@TimStone they let him into the space center without a mask during a pandemic…science is dead
> Commentators, meanwhile, have argued that Trump's tweets on the risks of mail-in voting were not actually misleading, and the president accused Twitter of seeking to "interfere" in the upcoming election under the guise of a supposedly neutral "fact-checking" policy.
I like how when they say "commentators have argued" if its BS the link is always just to another Fox article
