@V2Blast FWIW, about climbing onto the sea ghost, the pub adv calls for a DC 14 check.
The hull of the ship provides many handholds for climbing but is also very slippery. Climbing the hull without a rope or other device requires a successful DC 14 Strength (Athletics) check. On a failed check, the climber falls into the water
Ignaz choice to use the rope of climbing was a very good one. :)

@KorvinStarmast: Responded to your XP estimation on Roll20 with a correction:
> I'm a little confused by the math... 700 + 300 + 100 = 1100 XP total; divided by 4, that's 275 XP. Plus 50 XP each for attendance brings the total XP per person to 325 XP (not 312).
Am I calculating that right?
(If I am, Bron would have a total of 2,657 XP overall... 43 XP short of level 4.)

OK, the bard feat that I took was Jack of Spells. Laydown as follows: BG-diplomat, spy(2), wandering minstrel(2), mercenary, royal taster, and caravan guide
Icon Relationships: 1 positive GGW (Heroic Icon); one Conflicted (Ambiguous Icon, Emperor, due to mom being at court); one Negative with High Druid(Ambiguous also) due to something something dad was ahigh elf. (Once I read up on the Empire again I'll have a better idea on something for that).
Jacked spell is Enlarge/Shrink Object. Jacked cantrips are: Alarm, Spark, Mage Hand. (But I need to recheck, for some reason Alarm maybe isn't a cantrip?)
Or maybe I picked enlarge Shrink as a bard spell. Nuts. need to get to the book.
No, that's right, Alarm is a cantrip and Enlarge/Shrink is the 1st level spell I jacked.
Talents are : Battle Skald; Balladeer; and uh ... OK, obviously I need one more.

@kviiri some notes from 13 True Ways Pure Dragons are gold, Silver, Copper (p. 182) All metallic dragons can speak humanoid languages. Some of the pure metal dragons can also take humanoid form. Larger and higher-ranking dragons are more likely to do so…is capable of shapechanging into a humanoid form, usually of a warrior or spellcaster appropriate to its nature and usually not obviously draconic, registering as a normal human or elf or whatever (p. 183)
@kviiri when you get a chance, I think as room owner you can slide my flurry of bard chat comments over to Back Room, I should have put them over there. Sorry.

@KorvinStarmast Uh... Now the post says "350 XP" per person without changing any of the other numbers, which is still wrong based on the math :P
it's 325 XP each, unless you're giving us all 25 XP extra (which would still leave me 18 short of level 4 :P)

@KorvinStarmast Is 13 True Ways good? I can try to look it up

@V2Blast I am going to try that's what I get for doing things in a hurry ... will check later
@kviiri I will try to find a way to share with you, maybe via google docs, so that you can review it. I got it because they didn't put metallic dragons in the core book at all, which IMO was a real jerk move by Hinsoo. X-P
Iconic D&D, from Men and Magic, 1974, is six kinds of dragons. 1 Meallic (golden) and 5 chromatic. And his GGW is a golden dragon ... but ya know, to get kick starter money they did that shennanigans thing ... sigh, I'll stop
I mean, for goodness sakes, Dragons are a Huge thing in 13th age, world building wise ... shortchanging on dragons? Not a good move.
