This question is 7 years old, when this site was much younger and with different standards, and is highly upvoted with highly upvoted answers.
(and is currently closed but I think should be reopened.)

More 3 votes needed for U62

For what is worth, there is [also](https://math.stackexchange.com/q/706461/515527)
Perhaps merging can be done here?

@user1729 You understand that keeping old, low quality questions closed-but-not-deleted is a compromise position, right? Keeping the question closed prevents new users from using such questions as evidence that the community supports the asking of such questions. The justification "this is old, when standards were different" is insufficient...

No idea why the link from above at: "[also]" didn't shrink, also I just realised that Martin already mentioned the link in the comments.

@user1729 Indeed. Closing an old thread (SEVEN year ago!) like this is very much useless and prevents possible future useful inputs. Many duplicates are linked to this particular one, which is very likely to be the first one asking this particular question. Closing it makes this site nothing but unnecessarily confusing.

@Jack The question was closed. It was reopened an hour ago.
Closing it for lacking context sends the message that new questions need to meet a higher standard; closing it as a duplicate improves indexing; merging perhaps is the best solution.
Reopening the question did not make sense, unless one's intention was to then close the question as a duplicate, though this can be more efficiently done by flagging a moderator.

The question at hand is the target for quite a few duplicates, so I think it shouldn't be closed. If merging does not affect that, it would probably be the best option; as an alternative to the question already suggested, I think this could be a good candidate, as it gives a context in which the question arises naturally.
Alternatively, I'm tempted to edit something similar into the old question to add some context. Right now it is undeniably a PSQ.

@user I've voted to undelete U75 because I think it's better overall than the one which was made a duplicate source, fwiw I believe those two can swap places easily.
However I'm not going to vote to undelete U65 and continue a delete war. In short I'm willing to go with what @JyrkiLahtonen (and some others) suggested in the past, which mostly refers to duplicate questions to remain deleted. That is if the answers (even if they are good) can already be found in other posts, then let's leave them deleted.
So far I believe there are better post that deserve to remain, such as U62, U70 etc and since they need quite many undelete votes I doubt we can receive anything alone.
@JyrkiLahtonen I'm reffering mostly to this and to some messages from above.
Also I'm not sure how the choice duplicates are viewed by others, but I believe U62 is quite a decent question, and if anything, the duplicate source (Pure PSQ) should be swapped (perhaps merged if needed), but most important, undeleted.
If others would comprise to let undeleted and closed (perhaps even help us to undelete those) posts that got decent (if not good answers), and unique, (not sure what the antonym for the hard-duplicated would be), and (atleast I'm willing to) we let those unfortunate duplicates root alone, it will lead to something good for everyone.
Also not-undoing edits that improve poor questions and leaving old posts alone can also be appreciated.
Sorry for the bad english, but hopefully the point is made.
There also duplicates like this one that generated many decent answers before someone noticed the duplication, and I think in such cases it's good to keep them (merging might be a better option).

Does this one deserve to be closed as a duplicate?
