@Giuseppe Hi, I was wondering how bad I did here :)). Not asking for help, I just want to know if you've prepared an R solution yourself, and if so, how many bytes long is it (so that I get an idea of how much golfing I've got to do)?
Btw I tried to use which in order to avoid match and it turned out to be a complete disaster

@Mr.Xcoder No idea. (also, I didn't get pinged for some reason). I got to around ~70 bytes without using match but I still used %in%. which is likely to be bad for this (as well as Find) since it can return an empty list (which should be replaced by nomatch)
oddly, now I look at it, setdiff is implemented via match as well. match is a horrifically useful function, apparently.

Oh god :))
If I want that bounty, I'll need to construct a mess of a code
Given that I've learned R for this challenge though, it is unlinkely that I'll succeed.

@Mr.Xcoder well, I posted it as a bounty with no deadline, so if you ever feel like trying some R again, be my guest

Great, I'll have a shot at it whenever I have some free time. I suspect someone will claim it in the meantime, though.
@Giuseppe Just to clarify: Don't you intend on excluding setdiff as well? I think that would be more consistent.

@Mr.Xcoder nah, %in% is specifically mentioned on the match page but notsetdiff, so I'll allow it

Ah, i see
