10:12 AM
I keep getting this issue where everytime I eat I feel sick

11:00 AM
@Twyxz same as you had last week?
anything changed? diet/medication/exercise?

1 hour later…
12:05 PM
Nope
That's the thing it's been going on for 3 weeks now
but worse recently where I've actually came close to being sick rather than just a feeling

12:23 PM
have you talked to the doc?

nah I have like a serious freak out over getting my blood taken
RUnning away ill is the life

it doesn't necessarily mean blood tests you know... they don't just strap you down as soon as you walk in and stick a needle in
although that said they may well order bloods for something like persistent nausea I suppose
other things I can think of would be when did you last have your eyes tested? and some kind of ear infections

Tbf my ear has been hurting recently
and eyes last year I believe
But I've had things like this in the past
and it's always been like bacterial infection or virus

the ear thing could be related.. that can make you nauseous as all hell
particularly with the eating due to the pressure changes as you chew/swallow

Hmmm, interesting
I'll give it some time and see what happens
then after a few more weeks i'll go :P
It's not nausea though it's more stomach sickness

12:43 PM
mm
yeah.. clearly it's for the best if we just have you put to sleep.
:P

That'll do
I think I'd go to the doctors if that were the case

Happy Monday

1:36 PM
I read some answers and wonder if the person answering actually read the question...

@IDrinkandIKnowThings yeah I get that all the time
you also see it a lot in comments on answers

@IDrinkandIKnowThings any recent example?

2:17 PM
This is horrible, I'm forcing food down to make sure I maintain my weight and just almost dying every time
I don't think I've had such an inconvenience

@Twyxz then (at the risk of sounding like a stuck record) Go. To. The. Doctor.

But that takes time, effort and COURAGE

@Twyxz are any of those any worse than "forcing food down to make sure I maintain my weight and just almost dying every time" ?

Being complacent with a serious medical condition that could lead to death or permanent consequences is super easy by contrast, I agree.
That's way easier than going to the doctor to get them to examine your condition.

It's fineeeee

2:30 PM
It is not. Nor is joking around with your own medical condition and telling this room you are simultaneously gravely ill and doing nothing about it.
The doctor's exam may require no blood taken at all, and may be diagnosed with multiple other factors and given straightforward medication to resolve the issue.

I've been to the doctors 2 times in my adult life

(In fact in my country it would require no blood taken at all, because doctors surgeries do not take blood. They give you a referral to do that separately.)

both for similar things where they told me there was nothing wrong

Yes, and you are literally what we call gravely ill.

after taking ridiculous amounts of blood, samples, and tests

And when they give you the referral you are bound to go and make an appointment otherwise they call you every minute of every day till you do
