NIce answer. Despsite I somewhat disagree especially with the last paragraph. As you also imply there is nothing to learn about social skills on a site like IPS ;P Could you maybe add a link to the reference you exemplary added as backup? — dhein 29 secs ago

This isn't the whole picture. "Liking" something on social media also means "show me more of this kind of content" and will not make your feed any more interesting if you do it to things you don't care about, you'll just get more crap. — Erik 46 secs ago

Short answer: 1 well structured long text is better than multiple small texts, which tend to be rather annoying and spammy — hopsinat 6 secs ago

"So, are there any theories that reinforces that one should make slow, even text heavy slides to help communicate information effectively during a presentation?" Is that your only question? Or are you also looking for findings/experiences for the other side? — dhein 1 min ago

My personal policy, so to speak, is to not even be on social media where I'll be pressured to do such things. This is because many of my acquaintances are, unfortunately, passionate regarding political & social justice opinions (coworkers, family members.) Therefore, any time they post something if you do not "like" it you are signaling that you don't agree with what they are saying. So if you set precedent by liking some things and not others, you have declared a stance. — Duke Leto 1 min ago
