In the show, it shows that most of the female characters are brave and leading. but from the things I've heard, common indian woman are forcibly shut-off whenever she tries to stand-alone.

you know, be an independent, choose whatever job she likes to do, participate in dangerous activities and stuff.. Im asking about the common indian culture. not about few specials,not like if your family is rich and powerfull. The female characters are how close to reality, compared with the common, ordinary women in india?

another thing is about she-males in society and showing nudity in indian cinema/tv. I didn't watch the show completely 100%, but did a few cursory watches. in one of the final episodes, I noticed it shows full frontal nudity. is that legal in india? doing so, what will happen to those actors? I heard sometimes people hurt prostitutes and strictly against the nudity in indian sub-continent. is that true?

@Vishwa Female in India have mixed state, in metro city they are more free to achieve tehre dream and do whatever they want but in rural places they can't and many don't even try

@Vishwa female doing dangerous activity is not common as per my knowledge at all and depend on danger level too

@Vishwa nudity in Indian films is not as such crime but you will not pass censor board if it's too much. Even for A rated film censorship is way stronger the western countries

I think public display of nudity is not allowed but it depend on where and for what too. In Bangalore in a gay film festival they did display nude male as an art and it's not really a full public event so they got away with any issue except many complaints

@AnkitSharma I dunno what that word means, but in the show, there was a person who had both male/female body parts. male reproductive organs and female breasts. and it was a full frontal nude scene. that's why I asked that.

I read somewhere(or could be some documentary), that india has large number of such a people and they were somewhat removed from the common society and they live mostly isolated. they were considered low caste and treated badly in india. Is that true?

@Vishwa kind of, they are called Kinnar and they get outcast from families, they born like that. There community people collect them and raise them, they barely get jobs and have to either dance on marriage or child birth to ask money or beg or prostitute

In mythology they are respected a lot

Im sorry if I said something disrespectful. I'd love to see they all get treated like other humans, its not their fault being born like that. But what made me curious was, why. I only heard such huge community of them in india. is it a genetic disorder or some other natural caused mutation limited to india?

@Vishwa India is one of the very few countries where they give tehm recognistion as third gender. Most of the country don't allow it and they have to pick one of the two gender
