I agree with pretty much everything you said. Also it turns out, after having the discussion with my wife, that she's not happy that I work so much. Which is not really surprising, but still news to me. I only intend to keep it up for a year, so I think we can manage it. By the way, I give myself the same stipend, so it's more of a that's how much we've budgeted to spend on ourselves kind of thing, not really "paying" anyone anything. Except she also gets to keep 100% of her income to herself too, which I think is unusual. — Dan 14 secs ago
