Think paragraphs not sentences ;) These kinds of relationship advice questions are tough to formulate well, most get closed. But the more there is to go on the less broad they usually are. Sounds like you know them from school? How long? Do you have specific common interests? Why do you like this person? Etc. The more specific the less it ends up being a case where "every answer is equally valid" — apaul 25 secs ago

Hmm, I don't care for that. It's a complete rewrite of my answer, and I don't like the idea of a complete rewrite being attributed to me. Feel free to write your own answer ("I partly agree with Peter B, but...") — Peter B 1 min ago

It sounds like she doesn't want to tell other people about the relationship, but she wants a long-term future with you. You're upset that she wants to keep the relationship and her feelings hidden, at last for now. So upset that you want to break up. Correct? — Lofty Withers 13 secs ago

More specifically, is your question "Should I end this relationship when my girlfriend won't tell her ex about this relationship?". Or perhaps "How do I convince her to announce our relationship?" Your question is currently very broad. Please narrow the focus of your question. — Lofty Withers 37 secs ago

@Alex express $\cos(\frac{\pi}{180})$ as a complex radical for me please
is what it means

9:38 AM
ok so my question is not interesting or should i change post
i mean the German dude gives this answer $x=\sqrt [3]{-1/2\,q+1/18\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}}+\sqrt [3]{-
1/2\,q-1/18\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}}
$
for ${x}^{3}+px+q=0\
for ${x}^{3}+px+q=0$
but if both that and the computer is right it means $1/6\,{\frac { \left( -108\,q+12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}
\right) ^{2/3}-12\,p}{\sqrt [3]{-108\,q+12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q
}^{2}}}}}=1/6\,\sqrt [3]{-108\,q+12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}}+
1/6\,\sqrt [3]{-108\,q-12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}}
$
but also $1/12\,{\frac {- \left( -108\,q+12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}
\right) ^{2/3}+12\,p+i\sqrt {3} \left( -108\,q+12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}
+81\,{q}^{2}} \right) ^{2/3}+12\,i\sqrt {3}p}{\sqrt [3]{-108\,q+12\,
\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}}}}=1/6\,\sqrt [3]{-108\,q+12\,\sqrt {
12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}}+1/6\,\sqrt [3]{-108\,q-12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3
}+81\,{q}^{2}}}
$
and $-1/12\,{\frac { \left( -108\,q+12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}
\right) ^{2/3}-12\,p+i\sqrt {3} \left( -108\,q+12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}
+81\,{q}^{2}} \right) ^{2/3}+12\,i\sqrt {3}p}{\sqrt [3]{-108\,q+12\,
\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}}}}=1/6\,\sqrt [3]{-108\,q+12\,\sqrt {
12\,{p}^{3}+81\,{q}^{2}}}+1/6\,\sqrt [3]{-108\,q-12\,\sqrt {12\,{p}^{3
}+81\,{q}^{2}}}
$
what the hell is O spec
anyway it looked like a real poly to me and so show me what boat ive missed with complex variables pleaser
yes i get that we have multivalued functions of $\mathbb R$ so should I just subs $x$ for $e^z$ or something ridiculous?
I just don't get why it is stated like that in that paper Acer quoted like it doesn't work for $q=1 and p=1$ for starter
oh right i got it from here anyway mapleprimes.com/posts/…

@Adam You necro'd a thread from March 2013?

I'll think about how to set a better communication. I'd like to upvote your answer, but I'm not able to do it since I'm freshly joined. (Thank you for your advice) — J. Mius 56 secs ago

+1, she may have even been flirting. Such a comment can be a lame joke, a flirt, and a compliment all at the same time, that's part of the beauty of language. — Jarrod Christman 47 secs ago

@Upper_Case I have not liked how if he doesn't come and socialize in a situation they assume that he should be there "with his wife", and ask "where's your husband? Is he trying to hide from us?" "Tell him he has to come next time!" — ElizabethB 48 secs ago

@JoeFriend i think i might need some SE godliness intervention with replies to a specific comment about OpenID on meta.askubuntu
because there's some complaints about openID phaseout

@ThomasWard I can jump in there.

meta.askubuntu.com/questions/18003/… - comments on my answer, namely:
So you mean I just have to sign up for a stackexchange account and no more openid? Why?! — psusi 19 hours ago
@JoeFriend ^ namely response to that.
though I keep saying "Read the OpenID phaseout thread I linked here over on Meta.SE" really as the answer

@ThomasWard I'll jump in there.

(and I'd like someone in a power position to be able to reinforce my statements, or make a more valid one)
@JoeFriend thanks.

Not in the exact words I used, but he explicitly said he would like to improve his communication skills. I would be hesitant to bring it up exactly as I have here because I know how insecure he is regarding his perception of our differences in intelligence, despite my reassurances that he's plenty smart. — Curious_Flyer 1 min ago

This is a tough one and I hope the situation works out in your favor! However, I'd edit out your last sentence. "Bracing yourself" sounds like more of an intrapersonal issue, which is outside the scope of this site. — scohe001 5 secs ago

You pay him what he wants - he is happy, you are unhappy. You pay what he is owed - he is unhappy, you are happy. It's better if you are happy. I would be very unhappy if you don't pay me $100 for this advice. — gnasher729 20 secs ago

This sounds like more of a phrasing request or perhaps fairly opinion-based. I'm not sure if your interpersonal skills would really even have an impact for your situation. After all, we have no idea how Jay will react. And the answers would probably just be opinion. We could tell you to perhaps bake a cake and spell it out in the icing, or perhaps say to him "One of my chromosomes isn't what you thought it to be", but Stack Exchange has a hard time judging answers that boil down to opinion and feeling. I'm not going to VTC yet because I think you can make this into a good question. — Clay07g 1 min ago
