A: Which would be the concentration of the substance at the beginning?

santimirandarpAt the end of the reaction you have $\pu{34 mg}$ of substance. As it converted in 74.5%, you have 25.5% of initial mass. So, initially you had $34\cdot\frac{100}{25.5}$. If the volume is the same then divide the result in $\pu{25 mL}$ or the units you prefer.

@GaurangTandon roomba not activating for some reason

@pentavalentcarbon The question isn't closed and has an answer.

But if all the answers are < 0, I thought it would activate

Only if the question was closed more than 9 days ago and has no answers with a score > 0. But this question isn't closed.

Nice going

It looked just like a Feeds post. <sob>

Sorry I haven't responded to you yet, been a lazy piece of crap recently

<shrug> Busy peopls is busy.
Is the way of things.
@pentavalentcarbon One can understand an inclination to taking it easy right after one finishes one's thesis.

ah wtf, emacs just crashed! this never happens
In 1.5 months, I made small thesis edits and added Creative Commons stuff + put it on Github, did 3/5ths of deeplearning.ai, and a bunch of random stuff around the house...that's it
I guess I applied to a bunch of jobs and have done phone screens and an onsite...but life isn't structured so much anymore
yes, you can have less structure than grad school!

hehe
It worked out that I had about four weeks between my defense and starting work, which spanned Christmas break.
If not for that drumbeat, my routine probably would've gone all noodly too.

Ok, I should be working on a poster, but I'll draft your email
can't drag it out any longer

@pentavalentcarbon In this context, I am not so sure about the practice to downvote answers in order to get a question deleted.
