They are complementors of/to each other.
To or of?
@Catija Hi

@Pandya "complementors" isn't really a word that I'm familiar with. It'd probably be easier to say "They are complementary of each other." or "they complement each other"
:D Hi.

Oh ok. Actually I am making one sentence like "They are complementors of each others, not competitors
@Catija I am choosing complementors as it looks similar to competitors (for comparison)

Being complementary isn't quite the opposite of being competitors. You're looking for a word that means that they are on the same side?

No, I don't need oppositie of competitors.
Ok. Let's take it as on the same side.

Maybe if you give more context?

Example: Male and female are complementors, not competitors.

I mean... people will understand what you're saying...

@Pandya Why do you even care if you intend to sound unnatural and are unwilling to accept advice?
This really ticked me off.

@Pandya Someone who isn't competitive is cooperative (sort of, not really). Being complementary isn't the opposite of being competitive. I think that competitive may not be the exact word you're looking for and it's leading you away from what you want to express...

@Mediator You should've used quotes around the words (100k hits) and realized that those numbers mean bupkis. Clicking over a few pages shows Google only has about 150 actual results. Many are ESL mistakes; the rest are things like "He's so terrible that he's not even welcome in Hell", "Hades tried to make Persephone feel welcome in Hell", or "anyone is welcome in Hell". — lly 10 hours ago
Word of the day: bupkis
Noun: bupkis (uncountable)
  1. Absolutely nothing; nothing of value, significance, or substance.
  2. We searched for hours and found bupkis.

It's not necessarily true that Google only has 150 results. Unfortunately you can't tell how many it has, and the reported number is only an estimate.

OK, I'd been thinking about this for 10 minutes and only now have I figured it out.
