It is a bad idea to kick that door down. It might just be a shopkeeper's. I think there'd be a message if it was (here there isn't) but better safe then sorry :P
@YiJiang Yeap >.< it's just some pass time i'm being playing with. and very simple. AND it's not a real javascript problem, but a logic one. I'm just missing something...
@YiJiang It is, but you should strive to win with each run. He isn't down on luck, since he has the genocide to save himself of this and future Team Ant encounters
@Michel Also, with that jquery question or whatever, your comment on the non-answer doesn't really read clearly. "But still din't work if the direct top is missing. Check the last cell from row 2 and row 4 in the example, they are missing. When I click in the last cell from row 1 or row 3 the below do not catch " What are you trying to say?
@skovacs1 I removed that comment, because that answer, answered my question, I didn't ask to work if there were not a div above from the div I clicked.
This is why I removed that comment. And accepted the answer as correct
Why would you want to count birds? It not important like dogs or grains of sand on the beach.
Plus birdcount would be so subject to false data, unlike dogcount. Planes and balloons and U.F.O. would often be miscounted as birds. That's just unacceptable.
That was terrifying. My laptop wouldn't work (i.e. black screen, wouldn't even go to sleep when I closed it). After about an hour I tried popping the battery and now it's working again.
Exploit:
I bought all the satellite shares in Grand Exchange, then bought up all of the satellites. The supply was still the same, so I left the sectors of this stock market with the goods in my cargo, and supply went to 0. That done, I sold the shares and made about 250k profit. I crossed the g...
@GnomeSlice isn't that more or less what the question was asking for? Plus exploits, while perhaps undesigned behaviour are still part of the game and in no way violating site policies. In fact, they would be covered under Gameplay strategies and tactics, Puzzle solving or obstacle clearing, and Game mechanics and terminology
@GnomeSlice You're really on a tear with the "I hate this," "I hate that," "You're dumb," etc. Got a chip on your shoulder or something? Anything I can do to help?
@skovacs1 Hm? What? I just said you guys were dumb as a joke, because there was an intense discussion going on about strategy in Google Zerg Rush, hah.
The farthest I've gotten in Nethack is Quest:1. The fathest I've gotten in ADOM is after the very first quest (I dunno what to do then). The farthest I've gotten in ADOM is level 3.
Speaking of Dungeon Crawlers, and 'winning' I managed to get a game of Hack, Slash, Loot that didn't have a ladder down on the first floor. I wandered around after having killed everything for like 10 minutes looking for it.
@badp Sure you do. I recall rolling MANY wizards, true. The ones that survived any length of time, though, got to the point of walking into Ogre ARMIES, and walking out unscathed. Granted, I usually lost interest right after, but just saying...
I accidentally ended up in a Gold multiplayer game against Cerberus this morning, and I don't think I've ever seen so many Phantoms in one place. I noticed that sometimes Stasis didn't seem to work on Phantoms that I'd already used it on once or twice.
Is there a limit to the number of times a ...
I like the idea of MMOs, but my biggest problem with them personally is that most of them just require too much time and effort to do well in, and that you can't really stop playing them for very long at a time without consequences, usually.
@ArdaXi Gotcha. If it helps at all, you don't have actively team with people ingame in order to participate in public events/quests and stuff. Unlike other MMOs, where you have to party up for XP, you don't have to here. If I hit mob A and you hit mob A, we both get XP.
I played Wurm about a year ago. It was a great game, but as I felt I'd be forced to relog when I finally got bored of it, to maintain my structures against decay, I quit. I have been contemplating playing without building anything, however I remember the game penalizing you heavily for hunger, fo...
My guild is a multi-game group of people. We've got jobs and spouses and university and sometimes some of us don't play for months. We don't hold that against anyone or have "activity" requirements. We're mostly a bunch of friends.
@ArdaXi Well if you have any questions or anything, feel free to poke me. :)
I really like the idea of playing an MMO with lots of political faction-type stuff going on, but I've never played one where that actually worked well.
I've not played many MMOs though, to be honest.
Let's see...
Allods, Flyff, Dofus... erm...
I liked flyff, until I reached the minimum level to get a class job, and realized I'd been building up completely the wrong stats for the job I chose.
Yeah, I think the only reason I stuck with it as long as I did is because shortly after joining, I made friends with a really rich (in-game) player, and she gave me a ton of awesome shit.
One of the 'things' with Flyff is the flying mechanic. There are boards and brooms. This girl gave me the most advanced of each, so that was pretty cool.
@badp There are a few spawners, but they just spawn a ton of weak enemies. Upgrade your spread and fire rate a bit and just point directly at them and you'll eventually get down to the spawner.
