I am no more discussing this further. Please delete the posts linking to our identity from GITHUB accounts and we end the discussion.

@Tech We can't delete them until you answer our questions.

@Tech Simple answer: Request denied.

@Mithrandir I have already made enough answers for the same.
If you dont think this can be done by you, then I will have to approach GITHUB for the same.

we do not yet have a blacklist removal process and as far as I know this is the first time we are being approached in this matter. I think we can accommodate some of your demands but we definitely cannot remove historical records
to my knowledge, the Github history is immutable and public, so that's out of scope for this discussion really, though I suppose you could approach Github about that if you really need to hide something from the public

Just an addition. Deleting our record is uselesss because everyone with a moderate reputation can see all deleted spams on Stack Overflow.

if you are satisfied with not having your domain name plainly visible in a file whose name contains "blacklist" I think we can do that without sacrificing anything

@tripleee Obfuscating?

@iBug thanks for the comment but please wait for @Tech to respond before we continue

So what is the final take on your side - are you guys deleting the GITHUB posts linking to our identity ?

@Tech please respond in the separate chat room chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/71171/…

as I have had enough discussion on this.

.... and please don't pile on further (-:

2 messages moved to trash
(no offense, removed a couple of redundant messages to keep this clean)
@Tech ping, does that sound like something you could live with, or at least discuss?

@Tech Please respond or we can't solve the problem for you.

room topic changed to Blacklist removal discussion (Metasmoke #304 / SmokeDetector #1444): We want to keep this reasonably focused. Please don't speak unless you are being invited to. Would you care to say anything, @Tech?

if you need to coordinate internally or think about how to proceed, at least giving us a status report -- and ideally an ETA for a proper response -- would be nice

10:35 AM
@Mithrandir can you add Art as a room owner, my browser is acting up weirdly again so I can't seem to do it right now myself? thanks

thanks!

@Tech Unfortunately we can't do what you're asking us to here. Firstly, we have no proof that you're an authorized representative of Webline India. Secondly, from a legal standpoint, this is not defamation. Thirdly and most importantly, removing the domain would be contrary to our project's goals, and you haven't provided any explanation or evidence of how Webline India will be preventing its domain appearing in further spam.
