11:00 AM
Aragorn's son messes up many dead Tolkien didn't like it, through away the idea, burnt it. Went back to writing histories

@Edlothiad Oh wow. Movies just showed Wormtongue stabbing Saruman and Legolas shooting him in turn
@Edlothiad What are the undying lands?
I never understood the whole concept of Grey heavens in the movies
Why were the elves going there? Why was that place out of Sauron's reach?

@Aegon Didn't the movies show Wormtongue throw Saruman off of Orthanc?

@Edlothiad He stabbed. Saruman fell

Ok we'll start with this map
If yuo look at it, in the top right corner you see Cuivinen. That's where the Elves were born. (woke up) In the North of Middle-earth, you see "Angband" (under the word Endor) Thats where Sauron's master hid.
The Elves were old told to follow the "gods" East, so most of them walked across the land to the Bay of Balar and took the Island Ferry to the land in the West, the "Undying Lands" because everything that lives there is immortal, Elves and gods
Everything on that part of the Earth lives by the Bay of Eldamar. There, the Light Elves lived and prospered among the gods and demi-gods, the gods made light trees, that made the elves prosper

@Edlothiad Isn't there a land link? North of helcaraxe?

11:12 AM
All the while there's still some Elves in the far east and a bunch in Beleriand and the rest of Middle-earth
@Aegon Ye, but that's like the "Lands of Always Winter" but 1000x worse

@Edlothiad Who told them to do that?

@Aegon The gods, because 3 of them went to meet the gods
And Eru (Supreme Leader) whispered it to them

So why are those lands out of Sauron's reach? Because he can't fight the gods and invade their land?

Wait I'm getting to it
So then One Elf got mad because Sauron's boss stole his diamonds, so he chased him back to middle-earth, killed some elves
Lots of Wars, in the end the gods capture the big baddy and tell everyone to behave, destroy half the Earth and go back into hiding
They give an island in the middle of the sea seen here:

@Edlothiad He was Morgoth or something wasn't he?

11:14 AM
To Elrond's brother (a man) and a bunch of faithful men and give them long life
However these selfish pigs couldn't help kill all the lesser men of middle earth and then rise up against the gods in the west. When they did that The gods sunk the Islands (Killing Sauron) and moving the lands in the west outside of the circles of the Earth.

@Edlothiad That brother is the ancestor of Aragorn is he not?
And those men are the Numenor

@Aegon ye but like a good 5000 years or so in between
@Aegon Ye Numenoreans, the remenants being the Dunedain i.e. Rangers of the North

Just going to interrupt to boast that we've just had cake and champagne at work in celebration for getting a big contract. Back to your discussion now :P

@Edlothiad What does that mean? Moving something outside the circles of the Earth?
@TheLethalCarrot Congrats!

Thanks :)

11:17 AM
So when they removed Aman from the Circles of the Earth there was a path left by boat to reach it, called the Straight Road, that was only opened to Elves (and the ring bearers) with the exception of Gimli.
@Aegon Basically imagine you're sailing along, and suddenly you realise the Earth is curving away below you, because as you continue straight, you've departed from the curvature of the Earth and are sailing this road to the lands that are now "in the heavens"
Easier concept is it's there but in another dimension.
Anyways that's why Sauron couldn't get there, but the other fellas could

@Edlothiad And being the Crafty lil shit that he was, Sauron had no way to find the path? And if he had successfully retrieved the ring of power, could he have crossed?

@Aegon No cuz the "gods" would just block him
He didn't want to go back anyways, when he realised he couldn't take the west (when they sunk the islands) he realised the gods don't care about Middle-earth, so he decided to take over that
(But Eru was watching and nudging Frodo along)
Also the Eagles belong to the head God, that's why they aren't OP

@Edlothiad How rude of them! What if he was a changed man, whatever he was? Still no second chances?

But yeah, the reason we know about all this is because Aelfwine (Eriol) an english mariner got lost on the Straight Road while sailing to the New World and was found stranded on the Island you see there called Tol Eressea, and was taught all this information and brought it back and Tolkien was merely translating it from "Old English
@Aegon Sauron had effectively died 3 times at that point, and as you increase your evil spread in the world (for sauron his ring) you lose the ability to posses a Hroa (body). This means sauron had a fairly non-existent Hroa, and was left "house-less"
after his final death (with the destruction of the ring) his fea (soul) was left to wander middle earth aimlessly

Ælfwine of Wessex, Alfred's elder brother. Is he the same??

11:24 AM
He was judged based on the malice of his fea, also he was a massive d*ck for about 10000 years

Or just some random pre-Norman invasion Anglo-Saxon?

I cant find the this Aelfwine of Wessex, but he's Aelfwine of England
Ælfwine is a fictional character found in various early versions of J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium. Tolkien envisaged Ælfwine as an Anglo-Saxon who visited and befriended the elves and acted as the source of later mythology. Thus, Ælfwine is given as the author of the various translations in Old English that appear in The History of Middle-earth Series. The Old English name Ælfwine means "Elf-friend". It is a well attested historical Germanic name, alongside its Old High German and Lombard equivalents, Alwin and Alboin, respectively. The unfinished The Lost Road was intended as a tale of "time...

@Edlothiad Oh nevermind, I mistook Æthelred of Wessex for Ælfwine
@Edlothiad Yeah saw that. A random Anglo Saxon

It's pretty complex and scattered his history, I don't know it very well
@TheLethalCarrot I found champagne in a cupboard at work

@Edlothiad You're a step closer to it then haha

11:32 AM
I opened the cupboard, said oops and ran away

We had 2 bottles between all 10 of the company haha

@Edlothiad btw is three the maximum number of times one can die?
From the movies, I thought it was like the cliche magical parrot kinda thing. His life Force was attached to the ring so he couldn't die as long as the ring survived. And he couldn't live if the ring was destroyed

@TheLethalCarrot Jesus!
@Aegon Hmm, it's the most we've seen I believe

@Edlothiad Haha was good

But Sauron is a Maia

11:34 AM
@Edlothiad Gandalf is the same I believe?

@Aegon Hmm he can't "die" he can only be un-housed. But yes his remaining strength was left in the ring
As long as it existed he could maintain his form

What's the difference between form and body? So he was like an empty suit of armor? Like the Nazgul? eh guess it's getting outta hand. I should give it a read myself

Ye Gandalf is a maia, although one greatly afraid of Sauron, and weakened for his task, having forgotten much of what happened in his past
@Aegon Nah form and body is effectively the same
The Nazgul have bodies, just in the weird white world scape thing
The Elves exist in both as well

@Edlothiad The Weathertop scene, right. So one can pass into that World if he wears the ring

Basically the Ring holds Saurons power, as long as it exists he can use said power, it doesn't give him a power boost or whatever and he is NOT a stupid eye
@Aegon Ye

11:38 AM
@Edlothiad Kinda like how Thranduil showed Thorin his hideous face, talking of fighting with monsters and stuff?

As soon as the ring is destroyed, he loses that power and dies when the tower collapses on him
(that last part is vague but is my reading of it)
@Aegon Umm sure, I don't really know how that works cuz it's non-canonical, but yea
The wraith world isn't really explained because Tolkien never seemed to care for it, he just needed a way to hide Frodo, and to make Elves seem more majestic

@Sekhemty
Well, I don't agree. Aegon answer is very detailed like always, but was posted after my question, its answer and the associate comments were already posted here, and basically summarize all known information from here. The quotes there are the same as those posted here, and I was interested about factual reference and other canonical information, not about speculation. — Sekhemty 1 hour ago
That hurt man.....that hurttt!

@Aegon In that case we can close it as POB, or you can have a we don't sow meme

@Edlothiad It does answer it tho. Not POB. His point is chronology. And the assumption that I stole the data that they already had and summarized it
Not sure how it makes it a non dupe
I did steal his quote on faceless man coin, rubbed off features cus I was too lazy to format it again. So I stole it with format from his question and just added what I make of it

@Aegon I mean, you can't really steal a quote from a novel that's been printed x millions of times from anyone but the original author
@Aegon I was interested about factual reference and other canonical information, not about speculation. If it's all speculation that = POB

11:48 AM
@Edlothiad That comment is worthless anyway, everyone is interested in factual references and other canonical information. It's just sometimes speculation is all we have.

@TheLethalCarrot Spat back fire in my reply
>So then restaurant food will still be better!
Yeah, because they're smothering your steak in butter and cooking it in a ton of grease. If you saw them make it you wouldn't want it anymore.

Yeah I don't really understand the problem with dupe closures.

This guy needs to go to better restaurants, I've never had a steak smothered in grease...

gosh you guys chatting so much I can't even catch up
well done

Blame Ed and Aeg for that with their TL talk

11:51 AM
@Edlothiad Oh I mean as in all out copy paste, Had to use it for me answer in any case.

@Aegon Oh well only formatting

@Aegon Could be entirely coincidental, like the time I flipped a coin on its side.
Don't try it, since I've done it everyone I know won't be able to, dem's probability

Because that is how numbers work :P
Any of you guys do much PC gaming?

@TheLethalCarrot Trust me I'm an engineer
Ok I'm behind schedule gotta do some work
@TheLethalCarrot Nah, not really

@Edlothiad Oooooh...

11:56 AM
@TheLethalCarrot dupes hurt when you are new to the site, typically once you are established you get over it
or just find better ways to improve your question to not make it a dupe

Yeah Sek isn't that new though
I think the problem is the wording your question is "closed" as a dupe not linked, marked etc

@Skooba 3k does not = new

@Edlothiad rep has nothing to do with it

@Skooba Yeah but 16 qs and 22 as tells you all you need too

@TheLethalCarrot Preach

12:04 PM
@TheLethalCarrot links?

@Skooba Also if it really wasn't a dupe because "the answers don't answer my question" one would be able to give reasons beyond "I'm asking for book only" and "they're more speculative than I like" (the latter not being a reason for it not being a dupe)

@Skooba Just the profile page...

@Skooba Link to what? Sekhemty's profile?

@Edlothiad no to the questions these comments are on

The comment is posted above, just click the blue 1 hour

12:05 PM
@Aegon @Skooba See that one

it's the one your answered, IRon coins

oh goawd

@TheLethalCarrot I do but I play only a certain genre

@Aegon I play a wide variety what we talking here? :P

@TheLethalCarrot Indie if I recall correctly

12:08 PM
@TheLethalCarrot Grand strategy and Real time Strategy

WOOPS
Don't know who I mixed you up with

@Aegon Ahh I do play some RTS but not many and not most of the time

@Skooba What, still winging about lack of HNQ
The man likes his history

@Edlothiad nah

@TheLethalCarrot What kind do you play? FPS?

12:10 PM
@Skooba 1 Excuse for complaining about dupes, Rep Shae

aegon's answer makes it a dupe but it appears he answered it after the first question was close

@Skooba This isn't true?

@Aegon Mainly at the moment, I'm just getting over a CSGO addiction for the past few months, I like your open world survival games, PUBG, used to play Arma 3 a lot. Anything I can get my hands on really

@Edlothiad oh right
to the second part

I like story/walking simulator games too sometimes

12:11 PM
had my hours backwards

16 minutes later

I mean at the moment I have 678 games on steam + origin + blizzard games and ESO online

Aegons answer was 16 minutes before the first close vote

Problem is I tend to get addicted to one game at a time so i never get through my backlog

There are other answers that answer the question which source wikioiaf which is a book canon source.

12:13 PM
@TheLethalCarrot Open world games make me confused heh. I tend to get lost

@Aegon Most are alright after you've played for a little bit, then open worlds like elder scrolls you're usually only going to certain areas for quests and just doing that you learn the various main parts of the map easily
I'm currently downloading COD WWII open beta to see if it is any good. I gave up with COD a few years ago but I'll give this one a try again.

@TheLethalCarrot I gave up on COD after getting bouts of Motion sickness. Weirdly I experience those only with COD and the ancient IGI

I like your Military sim/FPS games too like arma, squad and insurgency they're good games. Though for arma and squad you need to set aside at least 2-3 hours for one game

@Edlothiad yeah so he could have answered either ;-)

@Aegon I gave up with it because it was the same old game reskinned each time but each time it just got worse.

12:19 PM
@Skooba I began writing it on the newer one heh until TLC came here with a dupe target

@Skooba Sure, but he answered the older one. And the older one had content that also suggested it was a dupe.

@Aegon haha good on ya
I stole a quote

If you know a question is a dupe you should really not be answering the dupe, you should be closing the dupe and answering the original.

@Edlothiad older does not automatically make a dupe. yes in most cases sure.
@Edlothiad /why not both

@Skooba I know.... stop trying to teach me things I know

12:24 PM
I interpreted a certain part of the story wrong all along
Regarding the last part - I thought she used an ordinary gold coin dipped in poison, slipped into the insurance salesman's customer's bag of gold? She'd earlier observed that the insurer bit all gold coins he was paid, to make sure they really were gold - so he died of what looked like natural causes, long after Arya had left the scene. Simply hoping someone dies of fright doesn't sound like a good plan; worse, the client might see iron coin before paying and think he was the target; and worse still, a rare, reliably-deathly-terrifying iron coin would remain at the scene for anyone to take — user568458 23 mins ago

@Edlothiad stop saying things that make it seems like you don't know then? :-D

You know I know that. That's one of the most irritating arguments "Older doesn't mean newer". Shut up and come up with a real argument. I don't need to hear your whiny crap about that shit
@Skooba read the rest of the FORKING message!
@Edlothiad TRIGGERED!

@Edlothiad why cant we just spoon?

Spooning leads to forking anyway

@Aegon Woah he's blown my mind

12:25 PM
@Aegon im shook

@Skooba Dibs little spoon

@TheLethalCarrot tell that to my wife

@Skooba And my GF too actually... :(

Although I swear on my left testicle, if you mention "old one doesn't mean target" one more time I'm going to explose, be it here or the other place

Dumb oversight on my part. Sometimes fanfic instincts get the best of me and I see things the way I want to see, not how they are

12:26 PM
@Skooba @TheLethalCarrot be grateful you have a significant other, even Jill lets me down

@Edlothiad is your real name Eric Cartman?

That would explain a lot

@Skooba What does Jill have to do with Cartman?
@Aegon Our coin I took to mean the FM Iron coin, not a poisoned coin, how is one meant to equate those two

@Edlothiad Thats what I thought too. Why coat it with poison?
That guy would have known what coin it was
And wouldn't have bit it
Maybe I'll understand it better when I reach that chapter
Still pretty far behind in my re-read.

Pfft I'm 1.5 lotr rereads and 2 sil rereads behind
I once thought I'd be able to reread HoME once per year. I gave up on that after it took me 6 months to read BoLT

12:34 PM
@Edlothiad he had problems with Jill too

(HoME - History of Middle-earth and BoLT = HoME vol 1, Book of Lost Tales)
@Skooba What problems

@Edlothiad she let him down too

His left hand?

@Edlothiad isn't jill the right hand?

Although Eric does have a girlfriend at the moment
Heidi

12:37 PM
@Skooba Depends if you're looking at the palm of the back
@TheLethalCarrot FFS, why's that name so bloody common?

@Edlothiad Heidi Turner, and I don't know anyone called Heidi so can't comment haha

Q: What would happen if you used a time-turner inside the penseive?

TheAshSince the pensieve is a 'bubble-of-reality' what would happen if you used a time-turner in a memory? (Pre-Cursed Child time-turners - say five minutes to an hour) Would you go back in time in the real world or in the memory? (Yes the pensieve is Bubble-of-reality: MA: Do the memories stored...

^ Why I dislike HP
Just picture a scenario you know never happened in the canon
And ask "What if", "What would" questions

I don't even like the time-turner in itself
It's like a really bad version of time travel
Who thinks "I know I shall make a device so that you can go back in time! Oh but you can only do it in 1 hour increments too make it really awkward."

@TheLethalCarrot I'm swiss, My mum, sister, both grandmothers and all my female cousins ar called heidi...

@Aegon well we get those too. "Would the War of Five Kings still happened if....."
I actually answered that question lol

12:45 PM
@Skooba But not "What if Joffrey cut Ned's tongue, then beheaded him and then Thoros resurrected him, Will he have his tongue when he comes back?"
^ Lol actually thats answerable as well

@Aegon "Would the Balrog have joined Sauron had he defeated Gandalf?" Had a great write-up from yours truly

@Edlothiad You should be more neutral then
Stay out of comment wars

What if questions aren't bad when about something sensible. It's when they start saying stuff like "What if Arya was a boy?"

@Aegon he making up for all the neutrality

And make people deposit their sock-puppet earned rep in your account

I can't believe these Neutral jokes are being starred... It's the same shiz-nit every bloody time. There not comment wars, they're comment debates!

Discussion not argument?

@TheLethalCarrot When I'm involved they're definitely an argument

@Edlothiad That's a very positive way to put 'em......Not neutral at all

12:52 PM
I can't post the image here because it says F but follow the link if you want to see :P

@TheLethalCarrot Oh wow I didn't notice that
Was probably too busy whining about something they did

@Aegon Me neither little things like that are cool
@Aegon In the books the Boltons would never have done that meh meh meh meh meh...
:P

@TheLethalCarrot they took down the dire wolf statues?

@Skooba Beheaded them

@TheLethalCarrot That's one of the most reposted ones. You could see that from the first trailer
And possibly in S6 as well

12:56 PM
I hadn't seen it before

@TheLethalCarrot Bran and Rickon
@TheLethalCarrot Hmm I've seen it several times, and it must've been on /r/all as well because I didn't go on reddit much otherwise

Yeah I don't doubt it's been reposted a lot
@Edlothiad Is it actually meant to symbolise that In/Out of universe or is it just to show the Boltons had taken over?

@TheLethalCarrot I don't think that's actually true, just something someone mentioned once and i've taken to believe, I think the wolves may have been beheaded since the Iron-born took over, but I'm not sure

@Edlothiad I can see either of them doing it to be honest
It could be symbolism for it if there are no other beheaded direwolf statues
Though I haven't toured the set so wouldn't know :P

@TheLethalCarrot Do you get his penis encased in gold as well? 206 quid?!

1:03 PM
How is this not the official mascot of SFF SE
user image
2

@Edlothiad I'm hoping so

@Aegon IT'S SO FLUFFY I'M GOING TO DIE

@Aegon seizures probably :P
that is awesome tho

Should pick a frame and keep the one
Or a different frame for each month
@Edlothiad I want CD cos my car only has CD and my phones battery life is terrible but for £206 and having not seen them anywhere else yet I'm guessing it won't be happening

@Aegon I've not accused you to "steal quotes", whatever this could mean, it's just that your answer provided the same details that were pointed out in my question and its answer, so it did not add much to what I already knew. Just that. I would not have have accepted it but it would surely get an upvote.

@Aegon yeah... happened in Japan with Pokemon

@Sekhemty Oh I was just joking. If answers do not satisfy the OP, OP doesn't need to accept them at all, there is no obligation

@Aegon Doesn't make them non duplicates

@Aegon The problem is that now nobody else could give more insights now, even if more details will be given in future works

@Sekhemty Well all the evidence points to the fact that FLM coins aren't the legal tender of Braavos, but rather minted exclusively for them and used exclusively by them
Your question was "So, do the Faceless Men use their own distinct iron coins, or just the regular Braavosi currency?"

1:22 PM
@Sekhemty Of course they can. on the duplicate target.

I think I managed to prove that their coins are distinct
@Skooba You got a frigging populist badge?

@Aegon 2 i think

@Aegon Agreed, I'm of the opinion you hit every checkbox

But I don't really want to argue about this. The whole case is closed for me. I was only hoping to satisfy a curiosity and I was not be able to, despite others may think that, or that I should be explained what I really wanted to know

@Skooba I don't like you at all now

1:23 PM
@Aegon You don't? The real art is 6 Stewards and the Reversal

@Edlothiad Nay. Not a single one for me

and the reference quoted don't provide a final word about this, but again, it's fine like this

Only steward badges I got are on SO and that too, only two

@Edlothiad yeah reversal is a tough one

@Sekhemty If you have not had your "curiosity" satisfied, then you phrased said curiosity wrongly and evidently intended to ask something else. Because every single one of those emboldened questions in your post is answered by Aegon in his answer or one of the other ones

1:24 PM
@Sekhemty Sure no problem. Keep the good questions coming

@Aegon I will get 6. Currently around 4 months of 3, 6 of 5 and around 12 of all 6
Unless I create ~5-10 fake re-open votes per day
Or have an auto-reviewer

@Edlothiad No they were not answered, but we are going in circle here. Thank you for explaining me what I said and intended. Have a nice day

You're welcome, Thank you for the Sass.

@Sekhemty You can always edit your question, or ask a new one.

@Skooba Well not edit it so yours would be out of date
Asking a new one is fine though
To be honest i'm struggling to see what the actual question would be though to make it not a dupe

1:37 PM
@Sekhemty actually as soon as you press the "Post" button you lose all ownership of your post, SE owns it. They give you the right to accept it, but you no longer own any of the content within the post. You agreed to this when you created your account and pressed the "agree to T&Cs" checkbox. Therefore we are within our rights to close that question as the site is community moderated

So it is a matter of "It's not a thing of yours, so I do what I want because I can?"

@Sekhemty No I do what I want because it's right, you've yet to provide a reason why they're not dupes. I've only heard you mention to things "It's not answered my question" and "I wanted sources"

I don't really care who owns the text of the question, the answers, the comments, or whatsoever

Can we drop this now? You're just going round in circles.

Was the iron coin given by Jaqen H'ghar to Arya regular Braavosi currency? Or were they a different kind, minted just by/for the Faceless Men as a mean to let them being recognized when they wanted to? Aegon has answered this. No it's not regular Braavosi currency. It's only used by the FM.
So, do the Faceless Men use their own distinct iron coins, or just the regular Braavosi currency? See above
There, all your questions, all answered :)

1:42 PM
@Edlothiad well, the sources provided don't clearly answer this, they could be interpreted in either way
but again, I'm not interested in arguing

"It is not meant for the buying of horses." Not currency
* If the day comes when you would find me again, give that coin to any man from Braavos, and say these words to him — valar morghulis."* Magically finds a FM again, must be for the FM
"This . . . how . . . ?" [...] "Valar dohaeris" How did she get a hold of a FM coin, oh she knows the FM words, lets say them back
That sounds pretty unspeculative to me.

Ok, I get your point, and I still have a different opinion.
but please, let's everyone drop it
it is not that important
let's have a virtual drink together
and end the matter

But I'm enjoying myself
I need a sockpuppet to star me more. Everyone else gets them magic buttons

2:33 PM
I know there is this whole serious discussion going around
But this is kinda funny

A: Why was my answer deleted?

Rand al'ThorI've undeleted it. It may not be the correct answer, or a g...

Rand's answer needs one vote for deletion

I know, lol

Rand's one point is solid tho

This answer got away with unnecessary political parallels

Why would you want your answer undeleted that you knew would get heavily downvoted? haha

@TheLethalCarrot Because you have enough rep to not care about that?

@Aegon Well I wasn't stating it from a rep perspective but I suppose thats a reason

2:41 PM
We had a guy on History SE
Who'd ask all these Holocaust denial questions
But had enough rep so he wouldn't stop
Eventually got a long suspension

Nowadays there is another guy
He apparently can't seem to tell the difference between History SE and Skeptics SE

The above political views from a SFF answer make no sense
You can draw parallels between the two sites at least

3:11 PM
On the very same thread
A User unnecessarily claiming that British hands were clean in WW2 is given an OK signal
While another is caught in a shitstorm for suggesting otherwise (And no that user isn't defending Hitler, Trivializing holocaust, supporting hitler as some suggest)

Link? But most of the time its a problem because it clashes with other peoples personal beliefs. Also how the user goes about it, if you're drawing parallels it's fine but if it looks like you're essentially using the answer to platform your own beliefs it's not.

A: If Dumbledore could take on Grindelwald, why didn't he take on Hitler?

Mwr247For the same reason Axis wizards didn't take out Allied leaders In addition to the other answers, I felt one important aspect of the situation was overlooked. Wizards are an international community, and are generally on good terms with one another (obviously there have been a few major wizarding...

For the most part that answer is essentially drawing parallels at least. It'd be fine without that last paragraph

@TheLethalCarrot Funnily enough, the controversial answer is using the assertions
The non-controversial one for no seeable reason is just stating that Brits were essentially angels come down on earth

@Aegon Yeah everyone's problem with that answer is that it goes against their own beliefs, kind of ironic.
@Aegon Yeah it needs editing out.

Well since the OP hasn't responded to my request and half an hour has passed since, I guess will have to DV and move on

Probs best

@TheLethalCarrot Aye

Free answer for me then I'm guessing

@TheLethalCarrot Is there a question on that somewhere? I don't see it
I NEEDS THE GOLD

@Aegon Not that asking about what type of antlers elk have haha
Was essentially answered in the comments by the OP

Oh okay

3:48 PM
So I'm just going to collect some extra information and answer it myself

Which question, this is something I have to see

^ Time-Travelling Hitler Killers

The question you linked @Aegon makes an attempt at making his statement relevant to the answer (it isn't and should be removed), the issue with the other guy is he's got a political agenda he's CLEARLY trying to get across. His answer provides nothing new and is supported by 0 canon. Next point, SS has done some pretty awful nazi-sympathising things in the past and is a troll. He is just trying to continue trolling.

A: What is an "elk" beyond the Wall?

TheLethalCarrotIt appears to be left unclear as to what type of antlers the elk have in the books. Although from the text it can be inferred that the antlers are more similar to that of the US elk. From a nearby oak a raven quorked, and Bran heard the sound of wings as another of the big black birds flapped...

an elk?

Woops linked my answer by accident but you can obviously see the question from it
Elk in the UK is interchangeable with moose

Edit the question it's got spelling mistakes for them badge stats

@Edlothiad SS? As in Schutzstaffel or is it a nickname for that user?

I only saw one

don't know about that user's history so wouldn't comment on that

@Aegon It's what he goes by because of the Schutzstaffel and their service
Went buy, he only (or mostly) does women since he found out Valorum was a man and is keen on proposing

Ah where was I during the dramatic and frankly more amusing times of SFF

I missed it all too :/
