@Memor-X The funny thing about their child-like appearance is that they're the only race that can play the Reaper specialization, which is pretty much an angel of death
@Nzall not new to me. i've recently been playing with a party member who's a child but her code name is The Angel of Slaughter, with the scythe, bloodlust and everything
I started playing Art of Conquest a few days ago. I noticed that it is possible to switch between human races, dwarves and lichs.
I would like to play with the lich race, but whenever I click to swap it always says that it is locked.
How can I trade for this race?
I got a new mission that says that I need to build a level 1 workshop.
My castle is already level 7 and I have no option to build the workshop. I have already lurked what are the building that I can build with the castle at level 8 and I keep not having the option to build the workshop.
Do I ne...
@TheMattbat999 basically git is one of the most commonly used version control tools, subversion is one that's less popular and stuff, there's also tfs but we don't talk about tfs and there's people who do version control by copy-pasting the folder where the source code is stored.
@TheMattbat999 gitlab and vsts both provide free private git repos though I'd recommend gitlab more if you want a less terrible UI and VSTS if you want a more reliable service, though gitlab should probably be fine.
(when pushing, you need to do git push --set-upstream origin <branch-name> [if you don't know what the branch name is, it's probably master] the first time you add the origin)
@Avery I hate it when you git push and git's all like "I don't know what branch you could possibly want to push to, please copy/paste this line then fill it in because how would I even have any idea"
@badp I haven't had that problem tbh. Venv practice is usually to keep a master.venv file with just your direct dependencies, pip will handle subdependencies by itself
@fredley I actually ran into an issue with this the other day. The dependency was set at >=1.10, so if you just installed the standard requirements it installed the 1.13 version
I've been using my Vita for Remote Play recently to the point that I haven't turned on my TV for days (go figure). However, despite how much I've been using it, while I know how to turn the PS4 on with the Vita, I have no idea how to turn it off. There is a "Button Guide" that you can access by p...
@fredley I'm sad that the FAQ in the sidebar doesn't include the question "Have you split your soul into seven pieces and attempted to take over the Wizarding World?".
@PrivatePansy Those demos are pretty glitchy. The camera movements don't match the mouse movement. If you select a star on the Hello Metaverse demo and drag, the star and mouse don't move together
@Chippies maybe, but I'd expect that if I place my mouse on a star, hold the left mouse button and then drag to the right, the star should move at a similar speed to the mouse cursor
@Nzall like I said - in the video you're dragging the video, whereas in metaverse you're dragging the camera view
it makes more sense if you visualize it like that
took me 4 drags to make a full rotation in the video and roughly 4.5-5 drags in metaverse
so it's not the same, but it's not that far off
actually, the youtube video takes longer drags to rotate a full circle in fullscreen, whereas metaverse stays the same
because, like I said, in the video, you're dragging the video, so by stretching the video, the dragging movements required for a full rotation are longer
In monster dens, I sometimes find a sleeping monster which I want to kill for loot. However, stepping on him doesn't trigger combat.
I've tried using monster abilities like Roar, jumping on them, running over them, harvesting everything in the room, etc., but I have no idea what wakes them up.

There was a question that was asked involving gaming history and color schema of item rarity. As standards go on this site, this is off-topic as it requesting the identity of the game that first used the this color schema. The reason why it is off-topic are, per the tag wikis, are the following:

@Yuuki you know those squiggly lines you sometimes see in your eyes? Well, in first person shooters the scientists have figured out how to move them into certain shapes...
The terms 'n00b', 'nub', and 'newby' are all over gamer culture, but where did they come from? Did someone just decide we need a general word for someone who is unskilled? Is it a corruption of 'new' or some other word?
These are the current numbers ("current" because they can obviously be changed, but there aren't any plans to do so; they have been like this for a while):
The threshold is six, meaning the net flag count of the message has to reach six. Net flag count means the number of flags minus the number ...
> The "meh" votes are taken into account with a ratio of 1:5 (and rounded downwards); in other words, for every five people doing nothing with the flag, we deduct one from the net count.
Pretty straightforward here...
When a chat flag appears for 10k+ users, we are given three options.
Valid
Invalid
Not Sure
After reading this post, I am... not sure... what the third option does. Since the SE Network has sites dedicated to languages other than English, chat messages may al...
