@AffableGeek Why no cats? Didn't see that one. Sounds fun.

@Trig Apparently British Airways and the NHS won't let their flight attendants wear crosses, so let's call it even.
Here is what I still think is the absolutely stupidest question on all of C.SE. christianity.stackexchange.com/questions/4959/… it still makes me laugh enough to hope it never, ever gets deleted.
@wax eagle My temptation would be to leave questions like the cats, the socialists, and "Was GW Bush a prophet" as long as their are good answers showing up
I'd like to believe that even stupid questions (that may be harsh) have value, because they let seekers knownthat Christians can be patient and friendly. (Being obnoxious and rude is different from being really, really off the wall).
If one is willing to call preachers and pastors experts in Christianity, then one hazard of the job for the. Is dealing with truly wacky questions like these. I personally think it's good practice for such leaders to take just about anything, listen, respond, educate, and affirm.
And more to the point, people have questions, and there are answers. I'd prefer the questions to be better, but as a man called by God to serve people, all people are valuable, no matternhow strange their concerns may appear to me.
Besides, crazy questions have led me to clarify my own theology several times on this site.

Thought I'd ask in here if you'd like this migrated from bh.se:

Q: What does the Bible say about life before conception?

Chris B.I recently spoke with a friend of mine and he was wondering if we are alive before conception. We know that there is life after death according to the Bible, but what does the Bible say about "life" before birth? All I could dig up was this: Jeremiah 1:4-5 (ESV) 4  Now the word of the...

@ElendiaStarman, @waxeagle ping me in here or the TL if you do :-)

@JackDouglas I wouldn't be opposed to the migration. I'd like to wait for wax's input first though.

sure - happy to wait. It's been closed on bh, not sure if that means it will auto-delete at some point?

7:59 AM
@JackDouglas Nah, it won't auto-delete. Especially since it has a positive score.

@ElendiaStarman useful to know that, thanks :-)

@JackDouglas Welcome. :)

@JackDouglas send it on over

12:15 PM
@JackDouglas let us know if you have an issue with our migrations your direction. I've sent a few things over that I was fairly certain about, but please let us know if there is an issue.

@waxeagle done

@JackDouglas cool :)

@waxeagle I've reviewed the migrations and IMO all are helpful for bh.se. Even better, in every case the OP has followed the question over...
... so thanks for your efforts :-)

@JackDouglas awesome. We've had some clamoring for more migrations your direction, but honestly unless it has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity we are likely to keep it...

12:41 PM
@waxeagle I think that is right, not that my opinion either way should matter on your site. For good questions that you'd otherwise be closing (eg as too localized), please carry on sending them over. Seems to be the gist of the TL chat last night and Shog9's blog post.

@JackDouglas yes.

1:24 PM
@AffableGeek Nope. Not even. That's a uniform regulation. Different thing altogether.

Anybody see John Carter? Were there any not-so-obvious or obvious Christian themes in that movie? (I thought it was the best thing I've seen watching Star Wars as a kid)

@PeterTurner haven't seen it yet
