Meh. Serves her right for going and getting herself knocked up again ;)
@NapoleonWilson I am sure that it's not as good as a dirty martini. Actually, I don't even want to think about dirty martinis right now. Ugh.
<partially hungover squirrel>

@user22792 Well, I might still make one later.
@user22792 Awww, still?

@NapoleonWilson A little bit. Not too much. I just don't have my usual spring in my step because I have a headache :(

Awww. :'(

I know, right?
:P

@user22792 Awwwwwwwww! Sweetsie cutesie squirrelywuirrel!

12:16 AM
Hehehehe!!! OMG. You're so frigging adorable!

Ditto!
Tony Todd is boss, though.

Do you really like the movie Ghost? ;)
@NapoleonWilson Duh.

@user22792 Why?
But to answer your question, meh.

@NapoleonWilson Because you always say "ditto" just like Patrick Swayze does in that movie.

Oh, I see. Well, I think it's a nice phrase.

12:19 AM
Me: "I totally blank blank blankity blank"
You: Ditto.
An example of a conversation that we would have ;)
So, I thought that you just got that from that movie.

Awww. Well, should I just repeat everything then? ;-P
@user22792 A little. Maybe I try to use it more endearingly, like in that movie.

@NapoleonWilson No. I was just making an observation. Don't worry.
@NapoleonWilson You could actually say it FIRST for a change...but, I really don't know how I would handle that. I might either die of shock or explode ;)

Awww, as if I never say anything nice. :'(

OMG! I didn't say that! Gheez. I'm only messing around with you!

Okay, don't worry.
Why the hell do they even listen to John Denver? No wonder they have to die.

12:27 AM
Because he had just died in a plane crash when they made the movie...
I think that he died in the late 90's after he crashed his plane.
They say that in the movie when they're at the airport, I think.

I know. But there's not really a compelling reason to listen to him. ;-)
The teacher even explicitly puts a record of his on.

Well, the airport plays it when they're in the bathroom. It's not like they choose to listen to him.
They could have picked someone cooler like Skynyrd or Buddy Holly or someone else who died in a plane crash.

> Define irony. Bunch of idiots dancing on a plane... to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.

A quote from the awesome Steve Buscemi.
I would say that Stevie Ray Vaughan would be the coolest...but, he died in a helicopter crash.

1:01 AM
Eatsie time!

@NapoleonWilson Ohhhhh...how exciting! What are you eating?

Q: When life gives you ___, make ___ade

chiliNUTI can't think of the show/movie with the line, or what exactly the line was, but it was funny, and the thing that made it funny was that it made no sense, it was just some plural noun with ade appended to it, I thought it was horses at first (when life gives you horses, make horsesade) but I know...

@user22792 Breadlings with delicious stuff on 'em.
Irish Cheddar and Spanish Chorizo, to be precise.

@NapoleonWilson What's chorizo?
I'm living on Thai lemongrass soup broth ;-(

@user22792 A kind of salami (or pepperoni as you Usonians say?).
Chorizo (Spanish) or chouriço (Portuguese) is a type of pork sausage. Traditionally, it uses natural casings made from intestines, a method used since Roman times. In Europe Chorizo is a fermented, cured, smoked sausage, which may be sliced and eaten without cooking, or added as an ingredient to add flavor to other dishes. Elsewhere some sausages sold as Chorizo may not be fermented and cured, and would require cooking before eating. In Spanish chorizo and Portuguese chouriço get their distinctive smokiness and deep red color from dried smoked red peppers (pimentón/pimentão). Due to culinar...
@user22792 Awww, that sounds nice, too, though.

1:13 AM
@NapoleonWilson Ahhhhh... I see, said the blind man!
@NapoleonWilson Yeah...it's "nice", but I am frigging starving ;-(

@user22792 Well, then, maybe, I don't know, you could, uh, eat something more?

@NapoleonWilson Pfft! And blow my 2.5 hour swim this morning? That's just cuhraaaaazy talk! ;)

Mmh, delichious. Now to that dirty martini.

I told my mom today how different it is going out to eat with her compared to you. My mom and I are done in like 20-30 minutes, where it's like almost 2 hours with you, because you have to get drinks, appetizers, another drink, entree, another drink and dessert... ;)
I was like...last time I was here, it seemed like I was here forever ;)
Kinda like you're doing now... :P

@user22792 Gheez, I didn't know it took that long.

1:26 AM
@NapoleonWilson Well, it did at the beach. I think that it's quite adorable how you feel like you have to stuff yourself and then complain about how full you are ;)

Well, I was raised on eating what is on the plate!

Then...maybe not order dessert when you're already totally full, silly!

But desserts are delicious!

I wanna go to a buffet with you...just to see what happens!

@user22792 I don't consider my two drinks tonight part of dinner, though, rather than just part of my nightly palatal pleasures coinciding with the time I chose to make dinner this night. At home it's really less structured and complicated than in a restaurant.

1:30 AM
You would like take forever to decide what you wanted and then you would force yourself to eat everything on your plate. Oh, God. It would be just like going to one with my husband. He was so worried about getting his money's worth that he would make himself sick and then I would get to the car and open my purse to find all of this food wrapped in napkins. Argh! <shakes head> ;)

@user22792 Well, the advantage there is that you can take itsybitsysmally portions of everything. You can't really do that in a restaurant.
@user22792 Yeah, but I would just put much less onto my plate in order to try everything that looks nice.
I wouldn't make myself sick, precisely because you don't have to eat pre-specified amounts of stuff and can portion it yourself.
And I wouldn't take anything home, of course.

@NapoleonWilson I should have taken you to the one at the casino, then. They have all kinds of choices for different types of food. They have Chinese, Italian, Mexican, American.

Woot! Well, nect time then. We didn't really have too much time in the casino anyway. Not even enough for me to cover my losses.

@NapoleonWilson Well...you also don't make me fill up on the all you can eat salad so that we can take the entree home, either ;)

Oh my.

1:36 AM
@NapoleonWilson Hey...I told you not to gamble that other $200 or whatever else that you just had to go and get out of the cash machine!

But I had a system!

@NapoleonWilson Oh, gheez. It wasn't that bad. It always became more of a joke. Don't worry :)
@NapoleonWilson Uhuh...the system of losing like $400 in 20 minutes ;)

@user22792 It was only 200$, and it took much longer, because of all those other morons on the table setting millions of chips and winning all those little numbers.

And the guy next to you keeping that weird notebook...

Oh, right.
He probably also thinks it's safer to take a bomb on a plane with you.

1:41 AM
OMG! And then you getting all stressed out because you wanted to know everything on how the slot machine paid out and I'm all..."I don't know, just play all of the lines and spin the frigging thing!" The guy next to me was laughing about it ;)

Gheez, I just wanted to understand how stuff works.

Awwwww. Of course you do ;-*

Hehe! ;-*

2:05 AM
@user22792 hi

@AnkitSharma HEY THERE!!!!!

How are you, where were you ?

I'm good! Yesterday I was with my friends because it was my best friend's birthday and I had my twin nieces earlier today.

OHhh nice

I had a little too much fun last night ;)
What are you doing this weekend?

2:09 AM
Came to sister's place, helped her in shopping for her in law as on Saturday
Today's plan is in jeopardy

Are you still at your sister's place?

Yes till Friday
She is going to her in-laws house for few days starting Monday , they live in diffrent state
Anyway roommate left too and now I am all alone by myself \o/

Wadoodlesdoot!

I am all by myself, too. I have been in here bothering chatting with Napoleon ;)
I have a temporary roommate, but he won't be rolling in until really late.

Wuuut? Blind Fury is on TV right after Hard Target!

2:16 AM
@NapoleonWilson OMFG! You're never going to go to bed!

I know. :'(

@user22792 I have never been alone for more then a week or something
So it will be new for me and now I wonder what I will do with the extra room

@NapoleonWilson That means that I won't be able to talk to you until God knows when and then you're going to be totally tired when you finally call me :'(

@user22792 Awww! :'(
Maybe I'll go to bed then.

@NapoleonWilson Haha! OMG! I'm totally kidding, silly! You can stay up as long as you want to :)

2:19 AM
It might still be a good idea, though.

@NapoleonWilson Well, I wouldn't want you to miss Blind Fury or anything ;)

I haven't seen that for quite some time. But I remember it to be really nice.
I always found stories about blind people going beyond their limitations interesting.

See.
<pun intended>

I think the last time I watched that I still went to school.
Which would be at least about 12 years ago.

Well...are you going to watch it or not?

2:24 AM
Well, it just starts, so we'll see if I go to bed before it ends.

@NapoleonWilson like daredevil 😉

Indeed.

@NapoleonWilson Okay :'(

@user22792 Awww, so whatcha want? You kidding or not when being sad?

I'm going to go and take a bath, then.

2:26 AM
Awww, no wait, I can call you!

Yay!

Oh, Philip Noyce.
I might have to eat a little beforehand, though.

Oh, ffs! I'm going to go and take a shower, then :)

Mmh, delichious Hungarian salami.

Q: Why is Kyle so shocked before her husband's death?

BunchAt the very beginning of the Flightplan, Kyle was sitting on the bench alone in the empty subway station. She looked very shocked or frightened. At that time, her husband David was not dead yet. He even walked up to Kyle and they got on the yellow subway train home. What's that look for?

Is it following the path of Harry Potter?
Anyway, it seems I am leading the ToW and nobody is close.
Hey there @user22792
It seems @NapoleonWilson's English is totally spoiled.

@user22792 I hope it's not like 50 shades of whatever

@AnkitSharma Oh, hell no. I hate that stupid book. It's about a guy who lost his wife to cancer and he is falling in love with another woman. It's pretty good. It does have a pretty hot love scene in it...so far ;)

Heh, not sure I realized before that Sugai san's house is actually one of Frank Lloyd Wright's textile block houses in L.A., probably Ennis House, which seems a quite famous filming location. Afterall, Ridley Scott himself already used it before for Blade Runner.
But seing how influenced Wright was by Japanese art himself, that puts a nice twist onto that filming location as oyabun Sugai's residence, especially considering his dialogue's emphasis on the supposedly detrimental influences of American culture upon Japan.
I wonder if Ridley Scott was aware of that irony or just picked it as a visually appealing and interesting filming location.
Though, the textile block houses seem to derive more influences from Middle-American native architecture in their blocky and pyramid-like structure.

I don't know what that even is.

Invictus is a 2009 American-South African biographical sports drama film directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. The story is based on the John Carlin book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela and the Game That Made a Nation about the events in South Africa before and during the 1995 Rugby World Cup, which was hosted in that country following the dismantling of apartheid. Freeman and Damon play, respectively, South African President Nelson Mandela and François Pienaar, the captain of the South Africa rugby union team, the Springboks. Invictus was released in the United...
