@Seeker socha ki three strands of hair dengi nd ask from god for forgiveness. Lykn forgiveness k liye Kaise prayer karege WO suggest some rule .
@TheDestroyer why you have said that"now take a vow to Venkateswara and say you want sometime and after getting it, don't visit temple.
And tell me your experience." All gods are same na so why venkateswara god will punish anyone if someone can't visit his temple?

5:11 AM
@kaamya No. That message was for Rakesh. No. All Gods will punish in same way. Irrespective of what name you call him, Gods shows grace and at the same time punish for our well being.
@KeshavSrinivasan @Tezz @Pandya @SreeCharan @SwiftPushkar Is Hinduism Meta working for you?

@TheDestroyer Yes. With https

@TheDestroyer Yes, are you on PC or Android?

@Pandya PC
@SreeCharan I'm not able to access even with https

@TheDestroyer Then it should worked (with https) are you facing any problems? (any proxy enabled?)

@Pandya I don't use proxy
Only meta site not main site.

5:22 AM
@TheDestroyer It might be some problem regarding https.
@TheDestroyer which browser (have you tried another)?
@TheDestroyer also try to clear the cache of browser (or re-login).

@Pandya Ohh.. i am able to open in mobile but not in pc.

@TheDestroyer I knw that is for Rakesh. But I m asking that does only venkateswara god is very dangerous ? If anyone ask help from that god nd god fulfill his wish and in that case can't he pray from his house for that god? as god is omnipresent.

@kaamya Venkateshwara is not dangerous. He is merciful.

@kaamya Venkateswara is not dangerous. Every god is merciful.
@kaamya For example, in Sri Rudram, A Vedic hymn to Lord Shiva, says we pray to Rudra to make his less angry. Shiva can't be angry but here angry is our own sins (bad karma) and we ask him to forgive us by praying him. So, indirectly God getting angry means we are getting our bad karma. Nothing else.

@SreeCharan @TheDestroyer so why god punish human being if human being ask for help nd not fulfill what he have said. As god know we all are bound in a Maya jaal which is created by god .

5:34 AM
But to remind one's folly, god tests one.We shouldn't forget God anytime. Vow is a gratitude. That should be fulfilled. He will fulfill our wishes even if we don't offer anything but devotion. Why did she decide to give only 3 strands of hair? @Kaamya

@kaamya If we do some mischiefs our parents will censure us but that doesn't mean our parents are angry on us. Same is the case with God. He will always improve us like our parents, sometimes giving whatever we want and even sometimes punishing.

Welcome @TheDestroyer . Thanks but I've a lot of Tantra books in the queue, will ask when will complete these.

If the reason is affection towards hair, God wouldn't accept 3 strands of hair.

@Seeker ok.

@SreeCharan destroyer said that she can give only three strand that's why she has decided to give only three strands

5:36 AM
That maayajaal shouldn't be the reason for escaping the vows. @Kaamya

@TheDestroyer Yes I'm able to visit Meta...

@SreeCharan what god will accept ?

@kaamya If she said just hair in her vow, she can give that. Many people do the same for Venkateswara in Tirupati.

@kaamya give 3 strands but without any guilty conscience.

@Tezz @Pandya @SreeCharan Yeah. opened it. Problem was due to this extension.

5:41 AM
@TheDestroyer actually whenever I listen venkateswara god name I get scared b'coz somewhere I have read about that god that if any one ask for help nd tell that he will visit that temple nd refuse from visiting god will punish him .

@kaamya It's not actually punishing us. It's improving us or directing us towards sanmarga (सन्मार्ग),

@TheDestroyer but I don't understand people say that or god actually punish.

@kaamya It's a misconception. Give 3 strands of hair to God without any affection towards your hair. Giving hair signifies losing affection towards wordly pleasures and surrender to Lord. If lord Punishes us, we wouldn't be here. If we think we can cheat God, we are stupid. He gives a Jhalak when the bad aspects rise within us(ego, jealouy etc.,). Then we will automatically remember God.

@TheDestroyer Oh Ok...

@kaamya It depends on how you feel. How do you feel when your mother censures you if you did some mischief? Do you consider it as punishment?

5:46 AM
@TheDestroyer if he can't able to visit that temple does god force him to visit then only u will direct towards sanmarga ?

@kaamya Also, it is said sins are present in our hair. So, people give away hair.
@kaamya We can't fully understand acts of God. They are beyond logic. But at end you may understand few.
@kaamya What people call punishing will actually drive us towards Sanmarga.

@TheDestroyer no I don't consider it as punishment . I used to improve myself.

@kaamya Same things happens when you break the vow. You may feel God is punishing you but it indirectly aimed at your Sanmarga.

@TheDestroyer BT I am asking about venkateswara god .
@TheDestroyer does that man have to visit that temple if he cant ? Or god will understand him .

@kaamya Every God is same. Venkateswara literally means Ven = Sins kata = cut and Iswara = God, God who cuts sins.
@kaamya See. These Vows don't have scriptural evidence. They are personal experiences. None can say clearly. It's better if you fulfill as soon as possible.

5:52 AM
@TheDestroyer so why can't god comes in our dream do this and everything will be okay ? Why he can't he directs us in our dream?

@TheDestroyer oh! yes it is mentioned at here. So, now finally you can access ok

@Pandya Yeah. That extension was problematic. I removed that extension.

@Kaamya There is always an option. Why are you not able to visit a temple? Why can't you give the hair later? If the answer is "I only have time now. So I tend to fulfill it". Then it is not encouraged. God should be given 1st preference. Then comes our preferences. Also visiting Temples is not in our hands. Sometimes Lord creates obstacles to visit him also. That should be treated as test but not as punishment.

@TheDestroyer we never seen god rather than their statue that we used to see daily and that also created by human beings .and whatever is written in sastra is also written by human being we never come to know what is wrong what is write ?what should we believe ?can u tell me pls.

@Pandya ohh. there were many people like me who had this problem.

6:00 AM
@TheDestroyer what you want to say she should give her hair later or now?

@kaamya 'whatever is written in sastra is also written by human being' No, Vedas are authorless... they are not written by Humans... nor by Gods...

@kaamya NO. The people who written the scriptures are not mere humans like us. They were realised souls. Their spiritual level is different than ours(very high). If you have a thought like this, then it is pointless fulfilling your "vow". Because God has not asked your hair. It is your own thought.

@SreeCharan I am not asking about god in that passage
@SreeCharan I am not asking about vow in that passage

@kaamya Also there are many swayambhoo idols which were not created by Humans. Tirumala Venkateshwara is such an example.

Good Morning Vedanta and Philosophy :)

6:07 AM
@SreeCharan I am jst asking that we all doesn't aware of sastra n all and human being make their own rules in respect of god . all have different opinion regarding any matter so what should one can follow? I am asking that . don't take it in another way.

@SwiftPushkar GM!

@anuvaramban - yes , how are you :) Btw I would like to know more abt. Lord Vishnu's four vyuha avataras , do you know any book / site about this topic?

@Tezz @TheDestroyer @SwiftPushkar @anuvaramban @KeshavSrinivasan @seeker Under which tree did sita sit in ashoka garden?

@SreeCharan I think under tree of Ashoka...

@SreeCharan - hmm , good question , lets find out :)

6:15 AM
@Tezz @SwiftPushkar I am interested in english name. It is simshupa vrukha in sanskrit.

Sitãji lai Mannle chinikana manamã mãtrivat Buddhi gardo । Bhitri junn hoo bagaichã tahi ashala Ashoka vrikasha kaa Nicha dhardo ।।
@SreeCharan ^^^

@Tezz - yeah that is also highly probable cause the garden was exclusively called Ashoka Vana , so plenty of ashoka tress were there , and IMO those trees miight be more taller and broader than todays trees.

@SreeCharan I think Simshupa is Sishoo... Dalbargia Sissoo...
@SwiftPushkar I'm not sure... Adhyatma Ramayana tells Ashoka tree... and I think Valmiki Ramayana tells Simshupa tree...

@Tezz ok , will find abt. wht is simshupa vrukha :)

@SwiftPushkar I think it's Sisswo... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalbergia_sissoo but not sure...

6:27 AM
@Tezz - शिसव , हां :)

@SwiftPushkar Yeah...

6:51 AM

@SreeCharan - yes , see the name in other languages also :)
blackwood-tree, Indian dalbergia, Indian rosewood, shisham • Bengali: শিশ sisu • Gujarati: સીસમ sisam • Hindi: शीशम shisham • Kannada: agara • Manipuri: sissu • Marathi: शिसव or शिंसव shisav, शीशम shisham, शिंसवा shisva, शिसवी or शिंसवी shisvi, sissu • Punjabi: ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਮ sheesham, ਤਾਹ੍ਲਿ taahli • Sanskrit: अगुरु aguru, शिंशपा shinshapa • Tamil: சிசே cice, gette, ஈட்டிமரவகை ittimaravakai, மரவகை maravakai, நூக்கம் nukkam • Telugu: ఇరుగుడుచెట్టు iruguducettu, శికుప sikupa, శింకవ sinkava, శింకువ

A: Why is killing a brahmin considered sin while killing other caste people is not?

Ravi KanthIndra Committed Sin of Killing Brahman Demon A group of powerful (Rakshas) demons attacked Indralok, out of terror, Indra left his kingdom and went to Brahma for the advice. Brahma showed him a Brahman Rakshas (demon) and asked him to make that Brahman Rakshas his guru. Indra followed the orde...

@SreeCharan that's not malware.

7:49 AM
@SreeCharan - haha yes , removed may comment , mine has spelling mistake :)

@SwiftPushkar I heard that PancaratrAgamas contain an account of the chaturvyuham

@anuvaramban - oh ok , i know that , but i have to add more details in my this answer and dont know much abt. the vyuha avataras , so i need something which is exclusively describing the theory and Vyuha avataras in detail. But anyway thanks , i will search in P.A. texts .:)

Q: What are the purposes of Vishnu's Vyuha avatars?

K Vickneshvara The purposes of Shiva's Pancha Bramha Avatars are stated here. However, what are the purposes of Vishnu's Vyuha avatars

8:05 AM
@SwiftPushkar Which Pancaratra Texts do you have?

@Seeker From which text u learned that HUm is the Shiva beejam?..afaik..Shiva beejam is HOUM..its also called the "PrAsAda Beejam..Similarly,HREEM is the Shakti beejam or the Para beejam..Its also called the maya beejam..But there are other beejas of Paradevi as well..Thr's a famous and very secret mantra called ParaprAsAda mantra dedicated jointly to Shiva-Shakti
@RakeshJoshi Sudras can do the Pancha Mahayajnas..and without initiation..Its allowed in Scriptures..

@SwiftPushkar check out page 49 of PancaratrAgama by Varadachary

@anuvaramban - I dont have any , thats why i asked you :)
@anuvaramban - here is the full list but i want to know which book from the list describes the avataras ? - archive.org/details/pancaratra-agamas

9:03 AM
@Rickross it is actually Hūm which is same as houm. :)

@Rickross i think Sauh is prasada beejam .. as mentioned in laxman joo commentary

And I read that in commentary on Vijnānabhairav Tantra.

@Rickross in todays time shudra should be prefer before brahmin for vedic studies. . this is the only way to save vedic yore :)
when a sudra wants to know about god and vedas which means "dharma jijnasa" is activated inside him.. he is fit candidate

@RakeshJoshi Isn't "Dharna/Brahman Jijnasa" actived in who what to know about God? (Regardless of Varna)

@Rickross these discussion it not suited to vedanta i thnk. better to opt for related room
@Pandya arr means ?
yes that is what i m saying ... if a person is having jijnasa he is a fit candidate and his vasana for god and dharma shows that he is having activation of good qualities inside him so he should be bestowed with the respective samskaras.

9:10 AM
@RakeshJoshi Yes but I didn't understand why preferring Shudra over Brahmin?

Good dp @SreeCharan

wait i will say in a while

@Seeker 😊 Thanks.

9:26 AM
@SwiftPushkar Advance Congratulations for 5K.

@SreeCharan wow nice dp...😀😀 'Sri Raghupati Harshi Ura laaye'...

@Tezz 😊 Thanks.

@SreeCharan - haha very thank bro :)

@Tezz Lord Shiva in your dp seems very cute. 😂
Unlike this. google.co.in/…:

@Tezz - some text is not visible in your question :) may be ashwamedha by Yagnawalkya , i remember reading Brihad aranyaka up. commentory
@SreeCharan - आभार त्वयि प्रतिम , तव सुन्दर शुद्धिकरणस्य मम उत्तराणां :) Thanks for nice edit of my answer

9:56 AM
@RakeshJoshi Those who are true at heart are automatically not Sudras. Why bringing Sudras into matter?

it was mentioned by rickross
because still pathshalas are doing based on birth and not considering them !

@RakeshJoshi - Ved- pata shala in Haridwar do not , some patah shalas over there are open to all , also there are universities like Banaras Hindu university which is open to all , Indira gandhi national open university sanskrit course , & all the universities courses on sanskrit are free and open to all

not talking about sanskrit but veda samhitas

@SwiftPushkar i have already presented my arguments against these verses with higher authorities.

10:03 AM
@RakeshJoshi - I think this is from Skandha or padma purana , do not remember which now but i will tell u later :)

@SwiftPushkar most of them are in samskritam, i don't know it :(

A: Can a Sudra become a Brahmin in 'this' birth?

Rakesh JoshiVery nice question. As far as Vedas are concerned, there is no differentiation based on caste or gender. Any genuine seeker is welcomed here. If there is brahmajijnasa/dharma jijnasa in anyone born in shudra family he can be verily initiated into vedas and gayatri by upanayana. * ***brAhm...

@RakeshJoshi - yes i am also talking about vedas and shastras , universities do conduct these courses , one even can get Phd. in vedas from universities :)

do they teach veda samhitas and mantra chanting in university ?
1
A: Why casteism is based on birth rather than present Gunas & Karmas?

Rakesh JoshiCaste or Varna is not rigid by dynamic in nature. One can be promoted or demoted to other varnas based on his deeds. Further, varna is not for superiority or inferiority of anyone. Even non humans and objects have been classified as per varna. Today the Indian society is mainly divided on the...

@RakeshJoshi No Universities are more academic in nature, they usually don't have the practitioner in mind when teaching.

10:07 AM
@anuvaramban - oh ok , but offcourse you can read translations also , and i am sure you an learn sanskrit in few days as you have shown your talent in other technical subjects , you can easily absorb that :)

@SwiftPushkar LOL, were you being sarcastic the whole time? ;)

@anuvaramban - But I am taking abt. higher studies , and in universities one has to make self-study , rather than teaching cof classroom

@SwiftPushkar yes i am speaking of degrees like M.Phil as well.

@SwiftPushkar still no luck with audio ?

@anuvaramban - No but i do encourage all , even for small good things with true heart ( no sarcasm involved) :)

10:13 AM
@SwiftPushkar I am intending to learn samskritam properly from June, when my exams are over :D

@RakeshJoshi nice share

@RakeshJoshi - No man , I have't visited any of them , but i enquired and I think most of these paath-shalas are't realising anything in audio\video format , U -tube is the best place :)

u can also enrol in samskrita bharati.. its easy and almost free of cost
@SwiftPushkar the first ever ashtadhyayi on youtube was by me :)
i m happy it has reached thousands of people ...

@RakeshJoshi btw, one of my math profs met a field medalist during the Hyderabad's International Congress of Mathematics - he told my prof personally that sanskrit should be used to construct a programming language since it is the best due to its precise and concise nature!

10:15 AM
especially those who are into paurohityam

@anuvaramban - yes , My best wishes are with you all the time :) All the Best :)

@anuvaramban @Seeker would know best about it .. i m not into programing . but yes sanskrit is good to learn for scripture understanding

@RakeshJoshi - ohh GRT. just give me the link , I will listen to that :)

@SwiftPushkar I am planning to learn from my mom :D :D
@RakeshJoshi yeah, it can serve as a good base for programming itself!

@anuvaramban - That is the best , Mom-Dad are our first Gurus :) she will teach you with affection

@SwiftPushkar totally :D

@TheDestroyer - Wow nice find , excellent

this is also good

this hasta sanchalana (hand movements) is specific unique feature of Shukla yajurveda which is absent in all other vedas chanting.
this is from maharastra pathshala..

@RakeshJoshi - yes , thanks , i will listen these , in time :) (hand movements) is specific unique feature of Shukla yajurveda - : yes

i heard that is the second slowest chanting after kauthuma shakha..
@SwiftPushkar the person who made this video is the son of acharya of sant dyaneshwar pathshala aurangabad.. he lives in pune. his name is pranav muley

10:26 AM
@SwiftPushkar Thanks! I knew it was present in Preta Khanda as i read Garuda Purana long ago but i was lazy to search it and found it today 😀.

@TheDestroyer - oh ok , i didn't knew that :)

@SwiftPushkar But your answer describes it in more detail. Very good answer.

@RakeshJoshi - ok

@ChinmaySarupria Though your suggestions are good but i think it's not possible.

Q: Encouraging people to explain downvotes

ChrisFI used to get "upset" (though that is too strong a term) when I got downvoted without comment. If my answer isn't good enough then I'd like to know why. Not only does it improve the answer for the OP but it improves my knowledge too. Where the down-vote has been explained I've found it useful & ...

@SwiftPushkar Congrats! Crossed 5k.

10:49 AM
@TheDestroyer - Aabharam - अभारं 👍🏻
@SreeCharan - nice duplicate find , voted to close :)
@Yogi - Samajala ka re , So its called Masik , Paan aadhi kai system hoti mahit nahi :)

@SwiftPushkar Tu maza statement misinterpret kela

@Yogi - ok , kai mahnayache aahe tula

@SwiftPushkar mi vicharla ki ha incident indra ca incident jemha ghadla navta tya purvi mula bal janmala ale nastil ka?
@SwiftPushkar an tula menopause clear aahe ka?

11:04 AM
@Yogi - yes i know the menopause , but what i mean is some system was there before but was not occuring every month , so we are among few spicies who have this advantage , unlike animals (once in a year or so)..

@SwiftPushkar You mean animals don't have monthly cycle!! :O

@Yogi - that might be the symbolic story of Biological evolution also :) or possible explanation of ths monthly phenominan
@Yogi - no yearly , and that is based on seasons , offspring dies if no sutable conditions are there in nature , so nature reserved this right of animals

@SwiftPushkar Wow! that means that's really a boon to human females!

@Yogi - yes , thats why humans are more advantageous in nature , because of this as such adoptions , but women has to suffer also :)

@SwiftPushkar "In return for Lord Indra’s benediction that they would be able to enjoy lusty desires continuously, even during pregnancy for as long as sex is not injurious to the embryo, women accepted one fourth of the sinful reactions. As a result of those reactions, women manifest the signs of menstruation every month.SB 6.9.9"
@SwiftPushkar I thought mating during pregnancy is adharma since there is no ritu in that period so there are no demands from women.

11:11 AM
@Yogi - do see on Gita press Translation also , although the meaning is same but. the language is bit easy for actual interpretation

@SwiftPushkar What do you think about 6.9.9? , delete comment on the answer I've deleted mine

@Yogi - symbolic story of Biological evolution OR possible explanation of ths monthly phenominan , why we are advantageous over other species , and to show supiriority of human's ,etc.
@Yogi - The story should not necessarily be true , but the meaning it convey's is imp.

11:30 AM
@SwiftPushkar I disagree on this point, because IMHO shastras are not meant to be wrong. Anything wrong cannot show us path towards bramhan

@Yogi - yes i agree with you on that point , but i am talking abt. puranas , wait i will give you some explanation , (writing comment) :)
@Yogi - The object of the Puranas was the education of mankind, and the sages who constructed them contrived to find some historical personages and to superimpose upon them all the best or worst qualities just as they wanted to, and laid down the rules of morals for the conduct of mankind.
The object of the Puranas is to teach mankind the sublime truth in various forms; and even if they do not contain any historical truth, they form a great authority for us in respect of the highest truth which they inculcate.

11:48 AM
@SwiftPushkar Chal rahu de pan jar ka ha historical truth nasel ta mag yewdhe saare proofs kuthun yetil

@Yogi - 😉👍👍 , tu pc vapartos ka re

@SwiftPushkar Ho mostly laptop pan just to check mi cell pan waparto

@Yogi - Chal bhetu sandhyakali , baray yeto ..😀🔙

12:25 PM
@KeshavSrinivasan Chapter 62 -"The practice of Mahavidya" - kaumarika Khanda , Maheshwara Khanda of Skanda Purana talks about Aparajitha Devi. btw, there is "Aparajitha mantra" of vishnu .
@Tezz Same chapter 62 also talks about story of Rudra turning into child and suckling milk (removing poison) from Kaalika. Thereafter, Rudra as child creates 64 Kshetrapalas.

1:25 PM
@SwiftPushkar Is it visible now... ?...
I have edited....
@TheDestroyer Oh... why to remove poison from Kaalika....?...

@Tezz Kaalika was born when Parvathi devi smears Rudra's neck and throws it to ground. Then she was born. She represents kalakuta poison.
Kaalika Devi destroys Daruka demon but still after killing him, she won't get pacified. So, Rudra becomes small boy and suckles the poison out.

1:51 PM
@anuvaramban Do you know that rama said something like that to Vaali, "I am the law" so its justified whatever I do because I make dharma! :D
I = rama not me! @anuvaramban

2:57 PM
Namaste@Rickross

@Seeker Namaste
@Seeker Ok.Hum houm..

Yes @Rickross :)
Can you answer my latest question?

@Seeker I think Shiavaites also uses AHAM..I think the key is the bindu here..Om Hrim,Houm all contain the bindu
@Seeker Which Q?

@Rickross Yes, maybe. So far, I read hūm to be pranava. I'm newbie in KS.

@RakeshJoshi AFAIK Sauh is the parashakti beejam..

@Seeker Ok
@Seeker Worship of moon is done usually when it is malefic as per horoscope..But since its enuf to worship the over ruling deity Devi in Gauri form its not that rewarding

@Rickross my moon Rashi is Tula

@Seeker i will try to answer this

Which is weak I think.
You can answer considering my moon Rashi Tula.
Thanks @Rickross :)

@Seeker Moon is exalted in Vrisha i think
So it will be neecha in the opposite rashi ie Vrischika
@Seeker Your moon is neither exalted nor debilitated..

3:07 PM
Oh @Rickross I have poor knowledge of astrology.
But Tula moon sign has Shudra varna
So I thought feminine aspect is Shudra or uncontrolled or weak.

@Seeker But actually none worship the Navagrahs for spiritual benefits..Its mostly done for material plus remedial measures..But worshiping the presiding deities (like Sun-Shiva,Moon-Gouri,Mars-Skanda,Budha-Vishnu etc) does the job..
@Seeker I don't think its like that.. but even i am not an expert on anything..I am interested and want to learn more..

Oh. How can Gouri help? So should I edit the question and replace Gouri in place of moon? @Rickross if there are no spiritual benefits with moon god

@Seeker But then ur question changes entirely from moon to Gauri..Worship of Gauri is shakti worship..Obviously there will be spiritual material all kinds of benefits involved

Okay @Rickross I am gonna post one more question in case of gouri.

@Seeker Gauri or devi is the presiding Deity for Moon..So worshiping her helps in case moon is troubling u..Read the Annapurna Stotram if u have time to do so
@Seeker Ok..i will chk

3:14 PM
Oh thanks. @Rickross :)

I am going for dinner now ..will catch u later..probably @RakeshJoshi can also answer ur Q as it is quite related to Jyotisha

Cya.
Sir @RakeshJoshi you can answer if you want.

2 hours later…
4:54 PM
@Tezz - Yes its visible now , i also searched but 2-3 sites were showing same missing texts , 👍👍😊

@SwiftPushkar what?
@Seeker Moon represents Man (मन). Shiva conquered mind and thus he has moon on his head. Even Gauri has moon on her head.

@TheDestroyer - Ohh , that is about the sanskrit text in @Tezz question , it was not properly displayed when he posted the question , so i told abt that to him & he asked later on "Is it visible" ➡ & i replied yes it is 😊

@SwiftPushkar Yeah. Even it wasn't proper for me. I think encoding probelm.

@Seeker Why ask two separate questions with same content and replacing Gauri with Moon?

@TheDestroyer @SwiftPushkar I'm not sure why it was not seen in first time... My mobile was showing well...

5:04 PM
That was visible to me. I was wondering what is the problem all this time. 😀😀@TheDestroyer @SwiftPushkar

@Tezz - I think it's because difference btw handeling devnagari fonts differently by both os windows & android , the site is hosted on windows and we were seeing that on android , but you copied that text ftom pc and posted question
@SreeCharan - The square's were visible inbetween words at that time

@SwiftPushkar Yes, I also think it was slightly different type of font than usual...

@Tezz I think they are different fonts. Mangal is most used font for Devanagari.
@Tezz did you read that chapter?

@TheDestroyer which chapter?..

@Tezz Skanda Purana chapter.

5:11 PM
@TheDestroyer here generally Pretti is used for Devanagari...
@TheDestroyer No, I haven't read yet..

@Tezz ohh.. Pretti means? meaning?

@TheDestroyer it literally means Love... Maaya Preeti etc... haha...😀😀

@Tezz ok. Preeti is common word.
प्रीति

@TheDestroyer Ok...
Yeah...
I think it's also used in Hindi....

@Tezz Yes. Hindi, Telugu also. Sanskrit word.

5:17 PM
@TheDestroyer Yeah it's Sanskrit word...

@TheDestroyer oh. Yeah.
@SreeCharan I think they are still two separate questions. Ain't they?

@Seeker But you replaced just gauri with Moon.

Yes @SreeCharan But replacement making them two separate questions. Right?

DELETE HAMMER UNLEASHED BY @TheDestroyer .

Does everyone get enlightenment during Mahāpralaya? @SreeCharan @SwiftPushkar @Tezz @TheDestroyer @RakeshJoshi

5:32 PM
@Seeker yes .. cos nothing remains but a bindu.

@Seeker I think it's just like sleep... are you enlightened during sleep?... (but just my view)...

Then on what basis God creates newer Jeevas during next creation when newer Jeevas don't have stored Karmas.

@Seeker - hmm , i think indirectly :)

@Seeker Souls retain Vasanas with them but merge with Supreme Brahman.
@SreeCharan haha.

@TheDestroyer there must be a time when all Jeevas will be enlightened? Won't they?
@SwiftPushkar didn't get you. -_-

5:35 PM
@TheDestroyer yeah... it's like sleep... 😀😀

@Seeker That's not enlightenment.

@TheDestroyer I'm saying there will be a point of time in the future when everyone gets enlightened. Right?

@Seeker I don't think that's enlightment. All are destroyed.

@Seeker that's why the theories like Ajaatavada comes...

who is sleeping ? parabrahman also have 4 states of consciousness ? !!

5:37 PM
@SreeCharan I'm asking any point of time.
Okay simplifying question.

@Seeker me and Pandya had discussion about it before:
Feb 23 at 11:35, by Tezz
@Pandya
1) Moksha is eternal.
2) Universe is running from eternity.
3) Atman can't be created.

The above three things are Universal truth. But do you think can these three things be true simultaneously?...

On what basis God creates fresh Jeeva @All
Haha I think you too need the answer. @Tezz

@Seeker - I think moon keeps our mind & body cool that is essential in spiritual progress , but its just my guess , will look for what scripture is saying :)

God is responsible for creation of fresh jeeva (as no accumulated Karmas), But jeeva is responsible for enlightenment. How cosmic injustice.😯
Yes @SwiftPushkar will be waiting for answer. I too read in random places moon is responsible for calmness. If you find , put procedures to worship also. :)

@SwiftPushkar Yes. Moon always effects our mind. He creates happiness, sadness and mood swings. But he is famous for giving enjoyment to the person watching him.

5:42 PM
@SreeCharan Oh, you mean gazing moon is beneficial?

@Seeker - yes i will try to post a answer tomorrow :)
@SreeCharan - yeah , do you people celebrate "Kojagiri Pornima" @Tezz @TheDestroyer

:)

The Sharad Purnima or Kojagari Purnima or Kuanr Purnima is a harvest festival celebrated on the full moon day of the Hindu lunar month of Ashvin (September–October). It marks the end of monsoon. There is a traditional celebration of the moon and is also called the 'Kaumudi celebration', Kaumudi meaning moonlight. This celebrates Krishna dancing with the Gopi's At night, goddess Lakshmi is worshiped and night vigil is observed. According to a folk-tale, once a king fell on evil days, and was in great financial straits, but then his queen observed this fast and night vigil, and worshiped the goddess...

That is the reason Rama is also called as Ramachandra.(poetic). This is used by his bhaktas and poets who wrote hymns on Rama but not by Valmiki in Ramayana. Because the person who gazes moon gets enjoyment due to the beauty of the moonlight. It is called Vennela(in telugu). Moon has a special place in Poetry. @Seeker

@Seeker Moon is directly related with Mind... Purusha Sukta states 'Chandramã manaso jãyet"... or 'Moon came from his (Purushas) mind.'....
@SwiftPushkar Yeah we celebrate Kojãgrata Poornima... it comes five days (tithis) after Dashain...

5:46 PM
we especially drink milk exposed to moon-light this day , people believe that food eaten in moonlight is helpful for our brain

Wow thanks @SreeCharan @Tezz :)

@Tezz - oh , ok :)
@SreeCharan - yes ,correct :)

@Tezz चन्द्रमा मनसो जात

^^ This is the answer for the question

Q: Why is "Chandra" added in the name of Lord Rama?

TrialcoderWhy is "Chandra" added to the name of Lord Rama even though he is from the "Suryavanshi" (solar) clan? Also, this title was not added to any of his brothers or his father - only to Rama himself. What is the reason we add "Chandra" to Lord Rama's name to get Lord Rama Chandra? FYI - We had a dis...

5:49 PM
@SreeCharan -I absolutely agree with this thing :) Moon has a special place in Poetry

@SreeCharan Vidraranya says Rama is called Ramachandra or compared with moon as he brought happiness to sages by killing dark (Rakshasas).

@RakeshJoshi as you already know we have incorrect pronounciations... so problem arises... 😀😀

@TheDestroyer Then he should be called as Rama Bhaskara or Rama diwakara.

@Tezz optimistic

5:52 PM
@SreeCharan Moon is happiness. Rama Bhaskara is odd to listen. Ramachandra is good. 😀😀

@TheDestroyer haha
@SreeCharan yes that's the answer. You should add

He(Rama) gives happiness to people who watches him just like Moon(chandra). so he is called Ramachandra.

@SreeCharan Sun is harsh. Moon is pleasant. 😀

@Seeker I am looking for specific lines which says Moon is the adhipati of mind. So I refrained myself. I am reluctant to cite astrological sites as sources.

@SreeCharan - yes perfect thought :) Best .. A star for u ..

5:56 PM
Oh got it. @SreeCharan

@SreeCharan I think you can find that in Somanatha story or Chandra Revati story.

@SwiftPushkar आभार

@SreeCharan you can quote purusha suktam right

@RakeshJoshi OK.

:36108464 Chandra only loves Rohini. He also kidnaps tara and Tara gives birth to Budha (Mercury).
Moon is mind. It should be in control.

6:01 PM
@TheDestroyer - yes , the daksha curse story , i know that , I think i should have to sleep now , haha :)
Hey all GN TC Bye , Sleep well , flagging off for today ,

@SwiftPushkar Shubh Raatri. Dhwajaavarohanam!

@Tezz I think Moon god was competing with Indra. 😀😀
@SreeCharan Dhwajaarohanam. Why?

@RakeshJoshi આભાર for the hint.

thanks .

Good night all

6:06 PM
@TheDestroyer Dhjaavarohanam means descending the flag. He said flagging is off.

@SreeCharan It's hoisting the flag. Erecting flag pole.
@SreeCharan Ok. i misread.

@SreeCharan i have also posted one answer
