@JyrkiLahtonen Perhaps you could help BAYMAX with the above.
Sorry for the ping - but this needs moderator (from this of from another site). And I saw that you made a comment on the main site 3 minutes ago so you are probably still online. (Pinging all mods which were recently in the room would probably be excessive.)
The question is whether the room is worth unfreezing (it had less than 100 messages in total), but since the user explicitly asked about unfreezing, I directed them to the moderators. (Probably it is better to leave this decision to them.)
If you look at the brief exchange I had with BAYMAX in Calculus and Analysis room, I have also mentioned possibilities of using some already existing room and creating a new room. (But it seems that this user does not have sufficient reputation to create chat rooms yet.)
@MartinSleziak I will add to this that since this user cannot create room by themselves, there is not much of a difference between creating new room and unfreezing the older one. (Either way, they will need help of another user.)
@BAYMAX See above. If the complex analysis do not gain enough users and is frozen again, one possible solution could be also to expand the scope of Calculus and analysis.
@BAYMAX I remember that when we talked in another chat room, you mentioned you had problem with the bookmarklet for rendering math in chat. Did you manage to get it working since then?
@BAYMAX If you want, we can try together. (I can try to explain how to use it in more detail.) But we should probably do it in another chat room - since this one is mainly for things which require attention from moderators.
@Simply Hmmm, I've only received the one email I received from the Wolf and responded to it on Jan. 10th from you know me who I know you know... Nothing since then. I'll need to figure out what's up with my email server...all I get these days is spam!
@SimplyBeautifulArt This conversation should travel over to either Constructive Feedback, or to Room for the math enthusiasts
@JyrkiLahtonen I know it may have been too late (or later than it should have been, with respect to my last comment/s). I don't know how far your powers extend, but feel free to delete my most recent comments which are absolutely off topic here. Okay, since Jyrki just left, So I welcome @DanielFischer or @arjafi to intervene wrt this comment.
I suspect I might be targeted by someone serially downvoting recent and new answers of mine. It's only been a few questions so far, but if this continues to a certain point, is there any action I could/should take? A comment on a related question on meta suggested that even site mods can't view who casts votes.
@MarkS. I am not a mod on this site, but elsewhere, just to confirm: yes, per site moderators do not see individual votes. They have some aggregated data though. As you said for now there are not that many votes, but if this should continue it would show up. Moreover, blatant serial voting (say a dozen in five minutes) is auto-reversed by a script that runs at one point every day. You might or might not be within scope of that; the details are unknown.
To give some specific advice: forget about it for now. Maybe it's over soon and a handful of underserved dv while not nice do not change all that much in the end. If it continues for days and more and more votes happen, flag one of the affected posts for moderator attention and explain the situation.
@SimplyBeautifulArt Shall I kick you from the room? ;D
