There are four of us that got all the hats. However I'm slightly baffled by the order we appear. I'm wondering what the order is where there is a tie (like the four of us in first place). Some things I know it is not: First to get 41 hats Last to get the 41st hat Alphabetically by user name ...

And now that SE has forcibly ripped our hats away, this room will slowly fade to an icy end...

Hats were nice while they were here - so long folks. Maybe next year the excited fire of hats will once again melt an otherwise chilling winter.

I could not find anything on 2012's WB, so i dont know what happened then.

Say Farewell to Winter Bash 2016!

Another year has ended, and with that it's time to put all the hats back in their boxes, Winter Bash 2016 has come to an end! Over past three weeks, we have had ups and downs (err bugs) with hats, but overall it was a massive success. It appeared that there was fun to be had, and, wow, the hats looked hat-tastic on everyone.

Quoting Bhargav Rao from moderator election Q\A, who is now an elected moderator P.S. I won Winterbash 2015 and there's a saying that WB winners will make good mods (which came true in 2014). You will need approximately 700 rep points and if you win the winter bash you can run for moderator...

I kinda lucked out when I got it, it was a basically fine question that got downvoted because there was some profanity at first and people incorrectly thought it was a dupe... (because of that I also got Hero of Questions on it).
