Q: Guy does dual finger guns and backs/runs away from car exclaiming in an almost cheerful tone "No!"

user42228After racking our brains, my friends and I decided to consult the internet in our search for the movie/tv show where we spotted this. We tried to narrow it down to movies we had seen recently, but decided to not scrub through thirty-odd likely candidates looking for one scene.

Q: Question about a movie name: Drama/thriller movie with a woman with ankle monitor

Fábio MoraesI don't think this movie is from less than the year 2000, late '90 at best. I remember that it's sort of a drama/thriller movie with a "Cruel Intentions" kind of vibe, with people outsmarting other, but it was much more serious and heavy in it's subjects. I remember that in the end, they re-show ...

1:46 AM
@NapoleonWilson You eat cigarettes for dessert? ;)
Oh...sorry...cigarellos. my bad.

@steelerfan No, I smoke 'em, as the lighter next to it might indicte. Besides that, they're cigarillos. ;-P

Yes, I know. I corrected myself, because I knew that you would ;)

@steelerfan See, ya know me.

I do!
I'm watching Nine Months
I haven't seen this movie forever.

Oh, I'm watching Vertigo.

1:49 AM
Ohhh...good movie!
That stupid wine gave me a headache :(

@steelerfan Awww, the sweet ones might do that (at least if you drink a sufficient quantity of it).

And we all know that I drank a sufficient amount of it... ;)

Now Unfaithful is on. That movie irritates me. Diane Lane has no reason to cheat on Richard Gere! Argh! ;)

Not sure I've ever seen that.

1:54 AM
That's before she became a cheating wh*re ;)

I know. But she's Superman's mom now! Isn't that redeeming enough?

@NapoleonWilson You're not missing much. She was nominated for an Oscar for it, I believe.
@NapoleonWilson and Richard Gere took her back in the end...pfft!
So...I guess she's redeemed

Ya know what really was m'mazing? No Mercy. I love Southern stuff.

Oh, yeah! Awesome movie!
You love Southern stuff, huh?
Too bad you didn't go down south on your visit to the U.S.

@steelerfan Awww, don't worry, only movies set there. The most important things I love are Northwestern anyway.

2:07 AM
@NapoleonWilson Awww ;-*

Hehe! ;-*

Okay. Into the blue is on! This is what I am watching! Yay!

Hmm, I don't know. Deep Blue Sea is much better.

Agreed, but that isn't on right now ;)
I miss Paul Walker. It just makes me sad that he's gone :'(

Or, if you want divers finding drugs and smugglers and stuff like that, go for the awesome Nick Nolte classic The Deep with Lou Gosset!

2:13 AM
Yeah. That's a good one, too. It doesn't have Jessica Alba in a bikini, though...or a shirtless Paul Walker for that matter ;)

Hmm, sure. But you're watching it on US TV. Don't you have that infamous version where they enlarged Jessica's panties in post-process so you don't see so much tempting body?
@steelerfan You know what has Jessica Alba in a bikini, too? The new Mechanic, and that also has Jason Statham doing Jason Statham stuff on top of that.

@NapoleonWilson I have never heard that.

@steelerfan Oh, apparently they did that only for the trailer.
Hah! And it's inspired by the same novel that The Deep adapted!

@NapoleonWilson Really? Cool!

Hmpf, I really don't know about Kim Novak, though. There have definitely been more compelling women in other Hitchcock films.

2:27 AM
Grace Kelly...
She was the Queen...literally ;)

@steelerfan Totes!

<shakes head> ;)
@NapoleonWilson I'm going to sleep. Don't stay up too late. Goodnight ;-*

@steelerfan Ok. You're going to sleep already? Awww, you so tired? :'(
@steelerfan But good night and sweet dreams, of course! ;-*

@NapoleonWilson Yeah. I guess that 'm just exhausted from the week :(

Awww, I'm sure you are. Well, then get some rest.

2:41 AM
@NapoleonWilson I will, baby ;-*

feetwetWho decides whether to put bloopers in end credits? I sort of feel like any comedy should pepper the end credits with bloopers, gags, or outtakes. I love them. I don't care for this one

Questions asked by OP seems to be related somehow.

@AJ I don't think I'd actually be able to watch every new film released. There are just far too many.

8:05 AM
On the sidenote I want to check Inferno, I enjoyed both the previous ones

A J
@DrRDizzle Yeah right. Otherwise you'd be spending 3 days a week in theater.

@DrRDizzle One correction, It was not action film and not even promoted like that. they were mystery thriller
@AJ more then 3 days if he cover outside US/UK

A J
@AnkitSharma I watched first one a long time ago, but couldn't complete it because power cut.

@AnkitSharma Yeah, technically. But they are filmed as if they are really tame action movies.
There were nearly 2000 films released in 2014 from India alone.

A J
@AnkitSharma right. Also we have limited movies released here, so if he covers these movies, one day would be enough.

8:09 AM
@DrRDizzle still they are not action films, it's like watching Iron-Man 1 and expecting it to my mystery thriller and then feeling disappointed

A J
@DrRDizzle Yes, but in different languages. Reviewers here doesn't watch it all, but those which are released in many screens.

@DrRDizzle we have so many woods and Bollywood alone make so many films

There were roughly 5200 films released in 2014 according to this site. That means I'd have to watch and review just over 14 films a day.

A J
@DrRDizzle If you're paid for this anyway, would you do it? Watch movies in free.

8:12 AM
@AnkitSharma I don't dislike them because they aren't action films. I just don't think they're all that good.

wow so India release highest no of film

@AJ But I'm not paid. It's a hobby, I review for fun.
@AnkitSharma Easily.

@DrRDizzle Turn your hobby in a source of money.

@DrRDizzle That I can buy.

@AJ I'd love to. I just don't know how.

A J
8:13 AM
Just contact the magazine/newspaper publishers who are willing to provide movie reviews.

As expected UK make film quiet less but didn't expected Nigeria to be on no 2

A J
@AnkitSharma That is what I wonder. More than USA.

@AJ The problem is that most magazines/newspapers already have film critics writing for them. My best bet at this point is to pitch articles towards film websites and hope one of them like my ideas, but my biggest issue there is that I write very few "thinkpieces".

I have a goal to watch one film from every country

A J
@AnkitSharma Which ones did you watch till now?

8:16 AM
Covered Indian, US, UK, South African, French
partially japan and korea

A J
@DrRDizzle Oh. Try it once. See what happens. You have nothing to loose here.

@AJ That's true. I did pitch an article to Den of Geek a couple of weeks ago, but they never got back to me.

A J
@AnkitSharma Indian, US, UK, Spanish, Korea, Thai.
@DrRDizzle Keep trying.

@AJ I will!

A J
@DrRDizzle One Tip.
Share your reviews across social pages of film critics/newspapers/magazines etc, not only on twitter but others as well.

8:27 AM
@AJ I already post on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, several Google+ communities, multiple subreddits and even Instagram now. If you know somewhere else I can promote myself, I'd be glad to hear about it.

Have you read my article about Man of Steel?

A J
@DrRDizzle Nope
I watched it before reading your review.
And I liked it.

Well if you want to, here is an article I wrote that best explains why I think that Man of Steel isn't a very good representation of who Superman is meant to be.
But I'd also argue that Superman being traditionally heroic doesn't mean he has to be boring.

@DrRDizzle Ah. Mere to aansu aa gaye ye review padhke.

@AnkitSharma And if I unstar something, can I re-star it again later?

@Walt yes you can

A J
@AnkitSharma You know the Gay word in Oxford dictionary has other meanings too.
> Gay meaning ‘homosexual’ became established in the 1960s as the term preferred by homosexual men to describe themselves. It is now the standard accepted term throughout the English-speaking world. As a result, the centuries-old other senses of gay meaning either ‘carefree’ or ‘bright and showy’ have more or less dropped out of natural use.
> The word gay cannot be readily used today in these older senses without arousing a sense of double entendre, despite concerted attempts by some to keep them alive. Gay in its modern sense typically refers to men (lesbian being the standard term for homosexual women) but in some contexts it can be used of both men and women.

Oh, sorry, you pinged me by accident
