@Reibello At a guess, the downvote is because your analysis frequently invokes IRL comparisons and justifications and some people just don't like that in their 3.5 D&D. A comment wouldn't help anything if that's the reason for the downvote, so there's no reason to leave one.
It's been my observation that one downvote means "Take a look at what you can polish or re-focus, but otherwise just accept it as noise."

The Stack values votes in aggregate, not individually, so it makes voting really easy and painless. This means some individual votes are, by themselves, poor, and that's acceptable noise in the system.
One uncommented downvote can generally be taken as noise until proven otherwise.

@Shalvenay tonight isn't looking good, sorry to be such a flake this week. Turns out my wife had a church meeting tonight (not on our calendar!) plus I had about 3.5 hours of my work-day eaten up by inane trivialities. Think I'm going to have to head back to the office after she's back and the kids are asleep.
Tomorrow I'm taking the boy to a HEMA "fight night" for his birthday, Saturday's LARPing with a half-dozen 8 year-olds. What do Sat eve and/or Sun eve look like for you?
