Then again embedded SoCs are still fabbed on like 65nm-90nm processes...

My lowest power routers use about 3w. Higher end ones about 7-8w. The most inefficient router I've come across, ridiculed for its excessive heat output, still only used 14w.

I thought I had a DVT/Clot/Stroke/Heart Attack and I went to the ER - turns out my median nerve was entrapped, and that was making my arm go totally numb. -_- it was a great $1000 bill and they did absolutely nothing to help me, so that was great.

For safety/buffer/avoiding warranty claims even under extreme use/etc
