The greatest disaster of all the time.

@MAFIA36790 Yeah, and Trump will be elected. :(

Pound-sterling has crumbled down greatly.

user116211
God save the Britain.

I can't believe that after all that's been done, humanity's back to 1939.

user116211
@TIPS Well, he is more stupid and narcissist than Hitler.

user116211
@TIPS The problem is we don't know what will happen in future;

user116211
for it laid down the breakdown of Britain.

People like drama.
I should go and flag a message in some chat

user116211
Scots have voted greatly for being in EU; but since the result is opposite, now they would claim for independence from Britain.

Let's not predict anything when we're uncertain about the future.

user116211
Meanwhile, David Cameron would step down as UK PM.

Only predict stuff that's gonna happen definitely. Then you'd become a fortune teller and get some money.

Brexit. Cameron out. Now let's get Boris Johnson in, and have Trump be president in the US ... I'll head for my Swiss nuclear bunker.

Q: Is the wave-particle duality a real duality?

user14445I often hear about the wave-particle duality, and how particles exhibit properties of both particles and waves. I most recently heard this in this video. However, I wonder; is this actually a duality? At the most fundamental level, we 'know' that everything is made up out of particles, whether th...

@MAFIA36790 I am not saying it is good, but let's wait a bit before we proclaim it to be the worst thing ever and the start of World War III.
Cameron says he's stepping down by October
not that any potential replacement would be any better

user116211
@orthocresol Boris Johnson, of course.

I voted remain and I'm not happy but nothing we can do now except to just wait and hope that things go smoothly

I hope Oxbridge expenses go down due to the tumbling down of pound-sterling for foreign students.

@Dr.ZOMBOOS :P you promoted it earlier also.

@orthocresol: What do you think Corbyn would do?

1:26 PM
@TIPS This is terribly unlikely. Other than his avid fans, Trump is despised here.
@pentavalentcarbon I solved this problem for myself by just never bothering to try emacs

user116211
hi @brian ..... WTF!!

user116211
What happened to you ;\

<chuckle> I saw enough other Brians that I figured I needed to differentiate myself.
Or, do you mean my not being 'round?

user116211
@hBy2Py Trump said "Brexit a great thing."

<nod>, but that doesn't mean he's guaranteed election.

user116211
1:32 PM
@hBy2Py Nay, it's okay; it's you after I checked you answered my questions earlier ;P

Seems like lately I always come in here half an hour after the party's over.

2:18 PM
@hBy2Py I argue about it because I'm the only one who uses it. Everyone else uses vim.
(where I am)

3:05 PM
@MAFIA36790 he wouldn't do anything LOL

user116211
3:50 PM
The most happiest man would be Putin today ;))

4:19 PM
@pentavalentcarbon What do you like about emacs over vim? I'm used to vim, but I'm not strongly emotionally attached to it.

5:07 PM
@hBy2Py I surely hope so.
@MAFIA36790 Checked, didn't find it

user116211
@TIPS yes, removed after being flagged.

user116211
Damn, I should have taken a snapshot ;((

Missed it ;\

You can paraphrase it.

Q: Does 12 amu really equal the mass of one carbon-12 atom?

anaAs I was studying chemistry, I encountered atomic mass units and based on some calculations, I realized that numbers don't work out: $$\text{12 amu= mass of a single carbon-12}$$ $$\text{atom = mass of 6p + 6n}$$ which cannot be true because we know the mass of protons and neutrons is a tad mor...

Q: Time limit editing comments

Oscar LanziWhy is there a five-minute time limit editing comments? I found typos I wanted to correct in a comment I had posted, but it was too late, and I was forced to delete and repost.

Q: Do Dissociation Happen In Gas?

user29988I understand that dissociation is when something dissolve. I heard this mostly only happen in liquids. But now I heard it can also happen in gases. Is this true? If so when and why do this happen, and do it only happen yo certain gases? I tried to do research but didn't find to much information. ...

Gas... is very... very... complicated...
