Q: Comic Books based on DC or Marvels

Bazzinga...I am fond of movies but I didnt have any clue regarding comics books, can any one suggest from where can I download or read comic books. I have googled it so much but I need to start from the beginning. If you are having free resource then that would be great thanks

07:16
@NapoleonWilson Indeed it is. As good as Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang?
07:34
@MovieReel i think, it will be off topic on SFF too
@DrRDizzle I am planing to watch it but this days i suck in planing ;D
@AnkitSharma Apparently that Indian film you're excited for has got past the censors with just one cut.
@DrRDizzle yup, I was following every news about it. First it was given 89 cuts, then 13 and now 1 cut and that 1 cut was not that important.
Just trying to get company now
@AnkitSharma That's really good. I read an article about the state of censorship in Indian cinema, and a lot of people seem to think that this is the start of the end of mandated cuts.
07:51
@DrRDizzle current head of censor-board is the issue, it was in improving state and then he ruined it. He is even seems hypocrite and i hate him. He even inclined to one political side
Udta Punjab also stuck due to politics
One of there producer was from opposing party and censor board head was supporter of ruling party
Wow, I didn't realise that there was a political issue involved as well.
I mean obviously, the entire notion of Government censorship is a political issue, but you know what I mean. I didn't know party politics were involved.

Q: Only the Sith deal in absolutes?

David PilkingtonThis is a pretty well known quote from the Star Wars movies. But isn't it a bit paradoxical? It in itself is an absolute, and it was said by a Jedi (Obi-Wan if I recall correctly?). @DrRDizzle hmmm, not always but in this case politics was involved.
Current censor-bord head is too narrow minded. I hope he retire soon
08:08
@AnkitSharma No, I'd say that the Government - a political body - censoring art is always going to be political, even if it doesn't involve party politics.
hmmm, fair point
I hate censorship, don't give cut until it's absolute case. Just give then respective certification
The BBFC (The British Board of Film Classification) used to be very heavy-handed too, but other than one very recent instance I can't say that I've ever thought that they've given a film a rating that is too high.
In fact, I've often thought that some films should be rated higher than they have been.
@MovieReel If every ID become like this, then i take my words back
@DrRDizzle Indian board given Jungle book UA ( equivalent of PG 13) just because it's scary for kids
And Aligarth film got A ( R) rating because it have gay theme
PG here, which means anyone can see it.
And james bond need to remove kiss scene to get U rating
08:15
@AnkitSharma Surely the murder is more adult than a kiss?
@DrRDizzle UA means Kids can't go alone
@DrRDizzle Pahlaj Nihalani is to be blame. Double standard person, his own film used to be have those scenes

Q: How do (famous) actors apply for a movie character?

DecypherI was wondering how (famous) actors apply for a movie character role. I recently saw that the main character from ' Arrow ' wanted to play ' The Riddler ' in the new Batman movie. Source He said himself: I think all the superheroes are taken now. I'll play The Riddler, okay? It's a villain, ...

The BBFC actually has a really in-depth, interesting list of Case Studies in which they justify the age ratings given to various films. It's fascinating.
08:40
@DrRDizzle hmmmm
08:51
@MovieReel I blame you for making me change my profile picture
@AnkitSharma Who is that?
Cory Michael Smith (born November 14, 1986) is an American actor. He currently portrays Edward Nygma in FOX's television drama series Gotham. He appeared in Camp X-Ray in 2014. He appeared in 2013 in Breakfast at Tiffany's on Broadway, which starred Emilia Clarke. == Early life == A native of Columbus, Ohio, Smith was raised by his parents, David and Theresa (born Fagan) Smith, with his one older brother Chad, and graduated from Hilliard Darby High School in 2005. He had aspirations ranging from becoming a concert pianist to a lawyer. While at Otterbein University, Smith was cast in such plays...
Why i am not blue ;O
fixed......:)
Oh, I've heard he's pretty good in Gotham to be fair.
@DrRDizzle he is quite good, didn't know about his other works but he seems very good actor.
@Arrem hi o/
@AnkitSharma howd you know i was here?
Anyways welcome to Movies & TV SE
09:55
@DrRDizzle I don't know. Maybe. I don't like to compare stuff.
10:15
@NapoleonWilson That's the main difference between you and I. You don't like to compare things, whereas I compare, therefore I am.
Meh, to each his own. Was a great movie, is all I'm going to say. Won't find me assigning useless stars or school grades to it.
@NapoleonWilson No, I can't blame you for that. A quantative score is utterly meaningless.
10:28
@AnkitSharma Thanks. So what do you guys do in this room anyways?

Good lord. I'm sure that most people here are aware that the UK is preparing for a referendum to leave the EU, but this morning really takes the biscuit. There are "In" and "Out" flotillas "battling" in the Thames.
The rest of Europe must be praying we'll just leave at this point.
We're a joke.

Q: Can I delete my my account on one exchange, but keep my account on all other exchanges?

DaftI have an account on multiple exchanges, I would like to delete my account on one exchange but keep it on the rest. Is this possible?

@DrRDizzle I haven't been following the polls or the news about it. I know which way I'm going to vote, so why bother?
10:40
@Arrem whatever we like ;). It is made to discuss about films, Tv shows and out site but there is no hard and fast rule. So we discuss anything we are comfortable with.
@DrRDizzle what?
@AnkitSharma There are literally two small Navy's both arguing for a side in the upcoming EU referendum by sailing up the Thames. It's ridiculous.
@Randal'Thor That's the thing - there are very, very few undecided voters on this issue. I really don't think that there are enough people undecided to be worth swaying.
@DrRDizzle Is this like the Cambridge/Oxford boat race or something?
@DrRDizzle didn't got it but nevermind i am not a news person
@Randal'Thor No, that would make some kind of sense. They're literally just sailing in the same area.
@MetaReel reason was quite weird but obviously it depends on personal choice.
10:50
> The Boomtown rats star blasted out songs including Chicago's "If you leave me now", while the Leave boats retaliated by firing water from a hose at Geldof's vessel.
WTF
@MetaReel I wish I could make edits on meta. That should be , and there's a typo in the title.
The biggest problems I have with the Referendum are 1) why the hell is this big a decision being made my the general public, who are by and large morons, and 2) no matter which way I vote, I'm making either Farage or Cameron happy.
It's a lose/lose situation.
@Randal'Thor tell me what you want to fix in title
@AnkitSharma I can't even see a reason. The user doesn't seem to have done anything on this site for months. I assume there's something mod-visible behind the scenes here?
10:53
I will approve it
Can't you suggest edit?
@AnkitSharma Definitely remove one of the "my"s, and if I could I'd change "exchange" to "Stack Exchange" or "SE site" too.
@AnkitSharma Not on meta :-(
@Randal'Thor His jungle book question got migrated and got edited to fit the spoiler policy from here and then he repeatedly deleted it and was unable to understand the situation and asked for question disassociation and now deletion
@Randal'Thor tell me all the fix you wnat
> Can I delete my account on one Stack Exchange, but keep my account on all other Stack Exchanges?

> I have an account on multiple Stack Exchanges; I would like to delete my account on one site but keep it on the rest. Is this possible?

> tags: support, user-accounts
is the edit I would suggest if I could
@Randal'Thor done, i hope he don't get pissed of due to it.
Thanks!
11:31
@DrRDizzle Well, I can feel you frustration with (1), I definitely can. ;-)
@Randal'Thor Yes, there is, but nothing as heavy as to warrant deletion either. But well, that's people for ya.
@DrRDizzle Not to mention Boris bloody Johnson.
@NapoleonWilson This decision is exactly the kind of thing we have politicians for. Let them decide.
Is it not politicians mostly wrong.
@DrRDizzle You'd ... trust politicians?
Does. Not. Compute.
@Randal'Thor "Imbecile" doesn't do the man justice. He's what an idiot might look like in a childrens book.
@Randal'Thor More than I would the general public. Have you met the general public?
11:40
@DrRDizzle Imagine him as PM and Trump as US President.
We should get out to Russia while we still can :-P
@Randal'Thor Nightmare scenario.
I mean, look at this idiot;
@DrRDizzle Not much, no.
@Randal'Thor I don't know him but i hate trump
11:44
Hey @NapoleonWilson, what do Germans in general think of the UK in regards to the EU and the upcoming referendum? I have no idea what popular sentiment is elsewhere.
@DrRDizzle I don't know. I'm largely not on top of these things lately.
I personally think nations rage-quitting surely won't help the EU. Rage-quitting rarely helps ever at all.
@DrRDizzle I think in India we don't know much about what happen in UK. Except when that prince got married or some big budget UK film come
@NapoleonWilson I'm in agreement.
@Randal'Thor when did Syrio Forel's death got confirmed? Is it confirmed in book or some interview ?
@AnkitSharma Not confirmed AFAIK.
But it doesn't really matter for that answer. Trant is on Arya's kill list because she thinks he killed Syrio, whether he actually succeeded or not.
11:51
Once the nations say "yeah, fuck it, do your collaborative bullshit alone!", the EU has apparently failed.
@Randal'Thor hmmmm, fair enough
@NapoleonWilson just clearing abut Rand's answer from SFF
@NapoleonWilson My thinking is that the United States of Europe is an inevitability, somewhere down the line at least, whether that be in 10 years or in 1000 years. When that happens, I want the UK to be a part of it. Ergo, we need to be in the EU.
Realistically, it's the only way that smaller countries like the UK will be able to compete with monolithic countries like China, the USA etc.
At least in the future.
I'm semi convinced that the idea of Oceania, Eurasia and Eastasia from 1984 is the way that the notion of nations will go, but I'd rather be with Europe than the USA as it stands.
Anyway, that's enough about the EU. Someone recommend me a semi-topical film to watch - there is nothing out in the cinemas over here this week.
Watch some Shakespeare stuff instead, like Macbeth 3000: This Time, It's Personal or Ghostbusters.
12:01
Ghostbusters is from Shakespeare O.o
Sure it is, it's based on Hamlet.
@AnkitSharma You didn't know that Ghostbusters was a modern retelling of Shakespeare?
> Are you crazy? I can't believe a play where every character is murdered could be so boring!
> Son, it's not only a great play, but also became a great movie called Ghostbusters.
The Simpsons say so, so it has to be true.
@NapoleonWilson what? How? i have not seen the film
@NapoleonWilson so, it was a joke
or is it serious :O
I am confused
@AnkitSharma (Hint: it's not.)
12:04
lol
k
Darn. I was really hoping we could convince @AnkitSharma that Ghostbusters was based on Hamlet.
So we have no contender for the ToW yet :/
@DrRDizzle convincing me is not that easy. You should know it by now
And i can google stuff
everything is a modern retelling of Shakespeare
2
And Star Wars is a modern retelling of everything.
12:08
I hope i can see more India Shakespeare retelling from Vishal Bhardwaj
@Randal'Thor bleh bleh
So basically Star Wars is the essential Shakespeare work.
@NapoleonWilson Flagged as blasphemy.
I recently watched Ran, which was really interesting. But I know zero about King Lear, so I don't know how accurate an adaptation it actually is. It supposedly started as an independent story until Kurosawa realized the parallels and after that he tried to embrace it more.
@Randal'Thor It's not Mos, so we can make fun of Star wars. And we don't have meme meta post ;D
@Himarm hello, tired of yawning in mos ;)
@AnkitSharma Oh, I'm totally on board with making fun of Star Wars. The blasphemy was to compare some rubbish like SW to the literary brilliance of Shakespeare.
12:11
@AnkitSharma I hardly think Mr. al'Thor is afraid of us making fun of Star Wars actually. ;-)
@Randal'Thor ohhh, i though reverse of it
@Randal'Thor yawn
@AnkitSharma Evidently Napoleon knows me better than you do :-)
@Randal'Thor Which was the whole point of the joke (hint: I don't actually think Star Wars has much to do with Shakespeare at all, at least not the original trilogy).
@Randal'Thor i am jealous of your understanding ;p
To be frank Napoleon have better memory then me and better English too ;D
12:15
@NapoleonWilson Interestingly King Lear was based on an older story, which came in various versions but all of which had reasonably happy endings. Shakespeare was the one who turned it into the miserygutted "looks like everything will be OK - oh, whoops, everyone dies" story that's become famous.
Do i have a competition in bad English in moderators or i have to make @Himarm SFF mod and make him drunk all the time to compete with me.
i only spell bad when im awake
@AnkitSharma Can't he be an M&TV mod instead?
@AnkitSharma I'd think that would end in more "bad records" broken than mere spelling. ;-)
@Randal'Thor no we don't want my spelling clone to be mod here
12:17
AncientSwordRage is an SFF mod whose auto-incorrect often causes hilarity, if that's what you're looking for.
@Randal'Thor no he can't compete me , he don't have the mojo
@Randal'Thor I mean Austin power mojo not powerpuff girls
@Randal'Thor I think it was specifically answered in one film or TV show episode

Wow. Anonymous is on TV right now. Weird. I would watch it and ask a challenge question regarding Shakespeare movies, but I can't stand that movie, so...
@steelerfan so? you are going for it or not
@steelerfan Oh, why?
@AnkitSharma No. That movie irritates me. Actually, the whole Earl of Oxford theory/conspiracy irritates me...if you even know what I'm talking about ;)
@steelerfan Sure it's bullshit, but it's just a film.
@steelerfan i don't know ;D
14:34
I Don't think The Last Supper shows Maria Magdalena either, still a nice film.
mary magdalene was not at the last supper, obviously, because she was busy being pregnant.
Hahaha! Nice!
@NapoleonWilson Yeah, but I seriously got irritated when I watched that thing. It's actually a theory that some scholars believe, that's why it's irritating.
I want to participate in ToW but i might watch Pinjar and Spud 3 before it
14:39
@steelerfan Sure, you don't have to watch it. I've never seen it anyway.
@steelerfan Yeah, everyone knows that Sir Francis Bacon was the real author behind """Shakespeare""".
And for Friday i have two films to check , Now you see me 2 and Udta Punjab
@DrRDizzle Argh!
14:42
;O
So...since The Lion King is loosely based on Hamlet, do I ask a question here or over at SFF since it has talking animals ;)
@steelerfan Shakespeare isn't real and the Steelers suck!
See, now we are both angry.
@steelerfan talking animals are off topic on SFF untill there is scifishness
@NapoleonWilson Awww. Cheer up!!
14:44
@steelerfan It's off-topic over there, problem solved. ;-(
@DrRDizzle flagged for being weird ;p
@DrRDizzle But...but I am not even angry :)
@steelerfan how is it based on hemlet ;O
Why you guys making everything based on hemlet
The Internet so desperately needs a form of punctuation that indicates "I'm joking".
Very loosely, though. I'm not even sure it counts. Let's hope noone asks a question about it so we don't have to think about it. ;-)
14:47
@AnkitSharma Royal families, evil uncle, death of a father, princes being sent away, fathers reappeating as ghosts, etc...
@DrRDizzle I never take you serious, problem solved
2
@NapoleonWilson Yeah, I was kidding :)
@steelerfan Did his mother dated his uncle or had sex?
@steelerfan Good!
.in the Lion King? It's frigging Disney, Ankit! ;)
14:49
No animal porn ;'(
Hahaha!! You can get that on Natgeo if you really want to ;)
Anyway i have seen the film and both the sequels too
Or watch a proper animation film, like Felidae, if you want to see cats f--king and killing each other.
i forgot most from the sequels now
I like how you guys seriously thought that I would ask a question about the Lion king! C'mon!
14:51
@NapoleonWilson Animal planet or national geography ;)
Claims that someone other than William Shakespeare of Stratford-upon-Avon wrote the works traditionally attributed to him were first explicitly made in the 19th century, though supporters of the theory often argue that coded assertions of alternative authorship exist in texts dating back to Shakespeare's lifetime. Typically, they say that the historical Shakespeare was merely a front to shield the identity of the real author or authors, who, for reasons such as social rank, state security, or gender, could not safely take public credit. Although these claims have attracted much public interest...

I have absolutely no desire to watch animals engaging in "porn" IRL or on tv. God you guys! ;)
@steelerfan Why not? It's a great film. (Besides that, I didn't think that at all.)
@KutuluMike Grrrr...Total BS. The Earl of Oxford and Bacon are the most popular theories, I believe. Ugh.
also. I thought everyone knew The Lion King was basically Hamlet with cats?
it even has the two comic relief sidekicks.
14:56
@steelerfan You are missing the fun ;p
who eventually get their own spin-off
Well, I am just now learning that Ghostbusters was ;)
@steelerfan I didn't took you serious. And i love that film and go on with your question
@AnkitSharma You boys worry me sometimes :P
I haven't seen it in ages. Probably last time with 7/8.
14:58
I'm seriously not asking a Lion King question. I was being a smartass about the whole talking animal thing over in SFF.
@AnkitSharma Ooof.
Brutal.
@steelerfan You don't say.
@DrRDizzle Finally! A voice of reason ;)
@NapoleonWilson 7/8?
@AnkitSharma Years.
15:01
ohhhh
@steelerfan I didn't propose anything of the sort.
I think i have seen 10 mins of that spinoff few days ago
@DrRDizzle saying my jokes are brutal ;'(
@steelerfan ROFL
@NapoleonWilson Argh! You did! You frigging edited it! Dammit!
@steelerfan What, where?
@NapoleonWilson Are you messing with me right now?
15:05
@steelerfan No, I seriously don't know what you're talking about.
@NapoleonWilson Ankit was talking about animal porn, I told him to watch Natgeo, you said "or real life"...am I going mad?
One the side note: I have made one more twitter account, to say whatever i want
@steelerfan I am again blamed ;'(

@AnkitSharma Hehehe! I am used to it. I always get blamed for starting shenanigans in the other room ;)
@steelerfan I do get blames but mostly for serious stuff there ;)
On the side note: Time to leave for home
15:12
21 mins ago, by Napoleon Wilson
Or watch a proper animation film, like Felidae, if you want to see cats f--king and killing each other.
And i am home alone this days ;/
Too boring
@steelerfan he started to say "watch a real animation film" there --^ and changed his mind.
I do have to say that our neighbors had rabbits when we were growing up. It was hilarious to watch. It's over in like a matter of seconds and the male kinda just falls over with his eyes rolled back into his head while the female looks annoyed ;)
so you're only partly going mad
The weirdest animal sex i have seen is between two Housefly
15:13
@steelerfan Um, that was an unfinished message posted by a misclick. It never had any right to exist as an independent chat message at all.
Ahhh...so, I am partly going mad. So, Ankit is the only twisted one :P
@steelerfan O.o
@NapoleonWilson Yeah, yeah, yeah...Mike explained it. Don't worry.
@AnkitSharma Hehehe! Hey, I just admitted to watching rabbits for comic relief. It's actually pretty hilarious.
@steelerfan So...uh...I guess, that's...uh...not how it's supposed to work for humans then?
2
@steelerfan This is far too relevant to my life.
2
15:17
@NapoleonWilson No...it's pretty much how it works :P
i added stars were relevent to bunny sex
@DrRDizzle HAHAHA!
Home sick today. :( Meh.
Awww. Are you okay? Is everything okay with the baby?
Yeah. Just a cold, I think. The nurse at my OB thinks (from talking to her on the phone) it might be strep but that seems a bit silly... I don't think my throat hurts enough for that. Mostly just post-nasal drip and harder to breathe as a consequence. Not a lot of coughing or sneezing, no fever.
I called and left a message for the nurse at my GP but it could take a day for them to call back.
15:23
@Himarm Me too. Hehehe!
@Catija Awww. And I don't think that you can take antihistamines right now.
@steelerfan Nope. They say to take lots of natural vitamin C (I had some frozen mango chunks), drink fluids, and use a humidifier... but I don't have one of those.
Do mangoes have that much vitamin C?
You could also eata buncha oranges.
Or lemons, maybe.
Mangoes have a lot of vitamin C. Spinach and Kale do as well. More than oranges or mangoes I believe.
Hmm, I see.
@Himarm Have you seen Pixels with Adam Sandler?
15:29
Plus, the citrus can be hard to swallow if you have a sore throat.
@steelerfan no, i wanted to probably just wait for netflix on that one or something
Best thing: kale/mango smoothie with blueberries. Drink 3 of those a day. Packed with antioxidants and vitamins.
Oh, I have frozen blueberries, too... I should have some of those.
I buy lots of frozen fruit because it doesn't go bad :P
I don't have any kale, though.
@Himarm My brother in law came over last night and it was just starting. He kept shaking his head repeating "God, I'm old" "I really feel old" "I am officially old" :P
haha
15:32
@Catija Hmm, interesting.
@Catija Yeah. Blueberries are the best. Packed with antioxidants!
hopfully i wont feel old watching it, at 26 thats depressing :P
@Himarm He was born in 1973...he was a true "arcader"
I'd presume that fruit sold in the US is packaged in plastic bags anyway? ;-)
Wow. I need coffee.
15:34
@NapoleonWilson If I forget about it, it doesn't grow mold... and it's actually sometimes better quality for fruits that are picked before they are ripe. As long as you don't expect them to pass as "fresh", they're really good.
@Catija But what then, you defrost them before eating?
@NapoleonWilson Nope. I eat them frozen. Great when it's 90+ degrees out... it's like a healthy popsicle.
I never buy berries at the store. You can stop anywhere around here and pick them.
I like frozen fruit, too. Or, just use the frozen fruit as ice cubes in iced tea. Really good.
@Himarm it's a typical Sandler movie. Silliness everywhere combined with an awesome soundtrack.
Peter what's his face from Game of Thrones is in it.
I like silliness. I don't like moronness, though.
@steelerfan Dinklage.
You like the music in Sandler movies, right?
15:39
it's a typical Sandler movie, in that it's not Happy Gilmore and thus is crap.
@NapoleonWilson What's the difference?
@steelerfan If I had to guess... "You are silly, Sandler is a moron" ;)
@KutuluMike While Happy Gilmore is awesome, what about Billy Madison?
@steelerfan Abrahams/Zucker is silly. Zohan is a moron.
@Catija Hehehe!
15:41
@NapoleonWilson I like my version better :P But I do like Sandler occasionally. The newer stuff is less good than his original stuff.
@NapoleonWilson What other Sandler movies have you seen? You can't judge them by Zohan alone.
I saw parts of Waterboy and Happy Gilmore, I guess. Don't remember them with much fondness. Big Daddy was quite crappy and Little Nicky was awful.
Grown Ups was quite nice and Click was cool, too.
I don't know if I could go through life without quoting Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore or The Waterboy ;)
@Himarm Are you hearing this?
<shakes head>
New goal in life: Convert Napoleon to a Sandler fan ;)
Well, I haven't seen Pixels yet, maybe it's fine. Kevin James is largely nice, I guess.
@steelerfan you cant argue with these people some times, they have this thing in their heads "i hate adam sandler movies* irrationally ", well just enjoy killing clowns and laughing to funny movies without them
15:46
Pixels was actually kinda stupid. I got more entertainment watching my brother in law become nostalgic and depressed ;)
@Himarm HAHAHA! You gonna die clown!!!
Well, I never said I hate Adama Sandler in the first place. Be it irrationally or for whatever reasons. But whatever.
@NapoleonWilson Yes you did!! Admit it!! ;)
@steelerfan Where?
@NapoleonWilson I'm kidding! Chill... ;)
I have to go home anyway. L8ers.
15:50
Will you be chilled when you get home? ;)
@steelerfan Depends if people continue to think I'm not, I guess.
@NapoleonWilson JFC! I'm just messing with you!!
<sigh>
@steelerfan I know.
Yes, sure.
15:57
You always have to get the last word, don't you?
Not necessarily.
Can I go home now?
Hey, you're the one hanging around trying to get the last word in... ;)
@NapoleonWilson Come back. I already miss you :'(
16:29
:'(
@steelerfan Awww, sorry, I'm back already. Stop crying please.
@NapoleonWilson HOORAY!!! WOOOOOT!! :))
Coffee! Coffee! Coffee!
Da...wut? They're showing a Tudors marathon on BBC today. OMG. This is too frigging AWESOME!

@steelerfan Hehe, congratulations!
I know, right? This is the first time that I am excited for being bed ridden.
Of course, BBC is cut and has commercials, but who cares!!! It's the frigging Tudors!! WOOHOO!!
BBC? or BBCA?
BBC doesn't have commercials, but I don't think you can get BBC in the US.
BBCA, but my mom has like 3 different channels of it.
BBC America is an American cable channel that plays a lot of BBC Stuff but yes, the do cut them up and inject commercials.
Yeah, we can't get regular BBC here. Bummer.

it sucks because the shows aren't usually filmed with commercials in mind.
in US TV the shows are filmed in obvious 13-ish minute acts, with natural breaks where the ads go.
when I watch Doctor Who they usually just end up cutting to commercial in the middle of a scene
Hence the whole kerfuffle with The Night Manager. It was made by BBC and played on AMC in the US with commercials. It was completely screwed up from whichever version that Napoleon was watching.
you might get lucky, though. Tudors was a Showtime show.
I've noticed that Game of Thrones, which doesn't have commercials, still seems to have obvious lulls in the action where you could inject one cleanly.
Yeah, I have seen it on BBCA before. They just cut the nudity and add commercials.
I wouldn't be surprised if HBO, SHO, etc. plan their original shows so they can be resold to ad-supported networks.
wait.
Tudors with no nudity?

what's the point?
@steelerfan Well, you had the original BBC version, though. It was my version that was recut.
