@Surya Well, the Vedas aren't censored for content. They are just presenting a dialogue that transpired between Indra, Shachi, and Vrishakapi. Sometimes those people say inappropriate things.
@Surya Also, this hymn is meant to praise Indra. That's why every single verse ends with "Indra above all!" Its basic message is "When an ordinary man is cuckolded, it is because his wife has found someone more manly than him. But in the case of Indra, even when he is cuckolded there is no question about anyone being more manly than him."
@Surya By the way, this hymn does not even have a human rishi. It's a dialogue hymn, meaning it's a collection of Atmastutis or verses of self-praise by Indra, Shachi, and Vrishakapi.
