That'd be a reasonable assumption. I've got some experience with online games and when I saw this new room on the RPG.SE chat board I dropped in to welcome folks and connect 'em with the resources and experience of the site.
We're very happy to see folks use the RPG.SE chat rooms for games, but basic Stack-wide policies remain in play. RPG.SE has been working hard to overcome some culture issues of our own, and it's not about individuals being "all right with it" or not; the meta I linked above (it's now also in the star bar) may be of use.
@KendallFrey I'm being good. Like I said, I'm not trying to make any problems over here. This isn't my turf and whatnot. As a matter of fact, I think I'll just shut up and leave now. (Not butthurt, you're 100% right)
I feel like since most my recent posts were fairly on topic (either asking for help or talking about steffen's licensing question.) I can go ahead and make it.
For those who aren't aware, this room was created with the intent of starting a game from the C# programming chat room, which was locked this morning in a flurry of drama and hot pressed sandwiches.
room topic changed to C# Chat Gaming: This room has become a temporary refuge for the SO C# chat room. It was originally started for C# users who wanted a gaming group. Hopefully it can return to that. (Gaming for the C# chat room) (no tags)
Public Service Announcement: RPG.se takes the Be Nice policy seriously. While guests of RPG.se, adhere to it in chat as if you were on the main site. Thanks!
