why are so many games installing DirectX, some C++ stuff or .Net even if i have it already. Are that different versions or extensions? Or aren't the game installers able to find out, what I already have?

@AshleyNunn Yeah. That's why all the schools in our district inform the students days beforehand and make sure they know that they don't have to participate in dissection studies.
I don't have a problem with dissection, but that does strike me as weird to dissect a cat. Playing jump rope with the organs is extra weird and unneeded

In my school it was fetal pigs, but it was optional.
I think my issue with the cat intestine thing has nothing to do with disrespect. It's just that flinging the intestine around in a fast arc which occasionally hits the ground seems a tiny bit unsanitary.
