I feel bad about saying " The reasoning is a bit weak in several areas", in the comment on my most recent puzzle, but I didn't know another way to say it..
no...it have different meaning. By saying " The reasoning is a bit weak in several areas", you say that he can improve his reasoning to get the tick. But by saying "The areas are a bit weak in several reasonings", you mean that the whole answer is wrong.
And yeah...I liked how Hugh added that update in his question...especially the second-last line
Yeah, none of the answers on mine are close enough, despite the wordplay tag - but I imagine some could be simply because of the reasoning required for the correct answer.
I'll leave my slip behind you see
And the dress comes off when it's only me
The proper fathom's set to my draft
Or else I'll find another craft
The men I know, they toe the line,
Or else they'll learn to drink the brine
If they do leave, I'll stay my ground
I trust...
@Will It's funny how quickly my eyes see through mazes, these days. I know it doesn't solve your puzzle, but I just find it amusing to look at a maze, like that, and see the path within 1-2 seconds. (I start from the end)
W.r.t. Wordplay, that's one of the reasons I included acrostics, anagrams, etc. You can always point to it and say "too broad? The intended answer is right there on the page. "
And, like I said - I don't know if all of the puzzles were deleted for plagiarism (as it sounds like, from Emrakul's comment) or if they were all deleted because the user was suspended.
I keep reading this line of code that I moved over from the program I'm migrating (copying most things, until it works 100%)
The comment is mine, but the code is original. My comment makes me laugh - that's silly.
if (idx == 0 && schedule == "________________________xxxx".ToArray())
{
Console.WriteLine("Debug Stop"); // But we're not stopping? -- Original code process
}
there was one the other day where I was beaten by like 14 seconds, but the person didn't have the reasoning in the post - they added it within the time limit, though, so it looks like they beat me to the whole answer when they actually didn't.
So it's my birthday yesterday and my girlfriend comes over. We're kidding around and I asked her if she'd gotten me something good. She said: "Oh, yeah! Big time!"
Well, of course I wanted to know what it was. She went over to my computer, typed in a url and saved it to my favorites.

You have stolen the object.
You have completed the mission.
You're ready to get out.
There's just one little snag:
Your driver was captured and you no longer have an escape route. You sent a communique to TFC Command on your secure device, requesting further orders, and the following strin...
I didn't get anything useful subtracting from 100, nor did I get anything useful mod 26ing the differences, or mod 26ing the smaller of the differences, or rot13ing anything
I literally just made that up based on the "take from" part of the robin hood bit, and the fact that one of the letters isn't "a letter in a word at all"
so I guess it could possibly be on the right track, but I don't know that it is.
Hint 2 is "You know who you work for, and you have a pre-planned method for decoding these messages. You remember that the name of the organization you work for plays a part in decoding it." What can be the name of the organisation
Wouldn't it be funny if the answer was feminine wiles - then when you figure out the answer, Command sends back: "Oh, sorry, that was meant for a different operative."
