@Catija Oh, I completely agree!! I wouldn't even have sex if I missed one day of my birth control pill. Which, sometimes, you forget to take. So, I would always wait until I doubled up the next day. I totally understand!!

Oh, totally agree!! You have to have complete devotion to one another, not just lust. I mean, if you have trust, friendship and devotion, the lust part is easy!! Some people just don't understand that marriage isn't all fun and games, either. You can't be selfish and you have to be willing to compromise. It's hard enough to find the one person that you're willing to give all of that to, so it frustrates me when people don't take it seriously.

And they believe shit about "you're one person"... no, you're still two people and you still have individual thoughts and feelings and interests.

Exactly! You cannot be completely obsessed with each other, you still have to have your own independent interests. Yeah, I totally understand! My husband and I were both independent people, but still were completely in love with each other. That's how marriage should be!!

OMG! It's only 8:30 and I am already completely bored! Arghh!! ;)

There are actually quite a few here. I believe he is from the East coast somewhere. No, he is from cardiology. He is doing his residency here. He is one of the few surgeons that are actually nice :)

That's nice. :) I guess I didn't expect surgeons to be around after hours.

Well, the resident Doctors work such long hours, they usually sleep here, so that's the only reason that some of them are around. I actually sleep here sometimes too if I only have 8 hours between shifts. It's easier than driving all the way home.

Clearly I have no clue how hospitals work. I just imagine that there's the ER doctors who work crazy hours and the regular doctors that have scheduled surgeries, so they're only there during the day.

I'm "sleeping for two" :P The ultrasound tech was really excited at both of the ultrasounds that we had because the baby is really wriggly. Dances around a lot so we get lots of different angles to look at. We saw teeny fingers last week.

I really liked Click and I cried massively near the rather kitschy ending.

@Catija HOORAY!! So, I made this batter for sugar cookies and it is not binding together, it is really, really soft and won't roll out with a rolling pin. Can I stick it in the freezer for a little bit to firm it up?

The recipe only called for yolks, with no whites. I think that's why it's not really binding. I don't know, I could be wrong.

Ah. I don't like stuff on my hands. I have to wash them any time they get slimy... I tried to do paper mache go my wedding decorations and had to stop because I was miserable.

Oh, really? Election years are CRAZY!! My father in law is selling some of his ammunition and a few of his guns. My phone is literally ringing every 10 minutes. People act like this every election year, and stock up on guns and ammo, afraid that they will have it taken away. CRAZY!!

@NapoleonWilson I didn't either. That's why it doesn't really bother me. I'm not one of those girls that wants or expects something for Valentine's day. I feel bad for men that have to go completely overboard because their wife/girlfriend needs all of this elaborate crap just because everyone else is telling them that they have to on that one day.

And fortunately they didn't propagate it in school either in any way.

@steelerfan Well, but at least something you're supposed to get your loved one, be it just something small. But something that shows you thought of him/her. Being in a relationship and completely ignoring it would feel a bit strange, too. You might not explicitly expect something, but I'd wager it still warms your heart when you relaize he thought of you.

@steelerfan No, I'm not, we never had any of those "write your classmate stupid cards" things, let alone any kind of proms or somesuch.
