So, I'm looking for this game I used to play maybe in the late 90's or early 2000's, and I'm fairly sure it was a PC game. I don't know how I can classify it, I believe it was some sort of arcade-adventure games, 2d (similar to the first Zelda, for example, but I kind of recall it being tile-based in the movements), likely 8-bit graphics.

The main character was a boy (he had a mission, can't recall but I believe was something cheesly classic, like rescue a princess or somethilng like that) that needed to explore the sourrounding territory.

Every screen was a "map" covered in a "fog" that you needed to clear in order to unveil the terrain. You could encounter several things hidden in the fog:
trees/mushrooms (according to the map you were in (greenish one where forests, purplish ones had mushroooms and an eerie music)

objects, like weapons (I remember a broadsword, a dagger, potions, plate armors, and so on). I think you couldn't carry more than an object (but I'm not sure enought abouyt this) and everytime you passed over it you were equipped/consumed it - I remember it being pretty frustrating sometimes when you suddenly ingested some bad potion or downgraded your more powerful weapons...

and monsters, some really tough (I remember scorpions)

The map couldn't be exited in any place, I mean the more you uncovered the fog the more you realize trees /mushrooms (couldn't be destroyed) were making some sort of "maze" in which to move and guide to an exit.

There were several of these screens/maps (dozens?) and progressively you'd encounter more powerful items/armors/weapons and more powerfurl monsters, and I've some anxiety associated with this game as if it became too frustrating sometimes, 'cause usually I tend to finish all the games I play and somehow I left this one and forgot about it :D

When I jungle with Wukong I sometimes find it hard for the jungle monsters to focus my decoy rather than me. Well, I guess I'm wrong on the numbers. But Riot does have the moneys to build their own ISP. It's not like they're in a completely different ballpark from Google.

I could've sworn Tencent was bigger than that though.

@Yuuki Based on the numbers @Chippies posted, they're two orders of magnitude off Google.

Tencent might help a little but they clearly also have other things going on if Riot is such a small fraction of their total revenue.
