Q: Golden Sun data transfer on Wii U virtual console

I'm replaying the game on Wii U virtual console, and I was wondering whether a new data transfer system was implemented for when I finish it and buy The Lost Age. Will I have to enter 5 pages of passwords again?

@Wipqozn It doesn't really matter what you start with. Crafting classes can purchase mats from shops and combat classes can purchase equipment.

Q: Proper landing on pad?

I cannot seem to land properly on a station with just pads. I fly in with landing gear extracted, the pad icon is blue and high freq beeps. I have to fly out cancel docking and try again. Often the 2nd time I can dock without issues. Is it some bug?
