Q: Is there a formula for determining Rift Crystal Expenditure?

I've noticed that when i went to hire a secondary Pawn who's level is higher than mine it was going to cost Rift Crystals as opposed to none if i juts one at the same level as me. i am wondering if there is any formula for working how many Rift Crystals i would need to recruit high level pawns

Also, it has some control issues - in that i need to quit out to the main menue to check what my controls are: "To use the drone, press your action button." ... well, what IS my action button? (pressing every key on my keyboard failed, and I had to exit the tutorial to check. "F" as it turns out)

Q: Does Progress Quest end?

Are there a fixed number of Acts? I'm assuming at some point I'll reach the limit of whatever armour/item/quest descriptions the developer wrote, but is there any kind of end or ending to Progress Quest?

@badp infinite jukebox works really well with some tracks, and really poorly with others.

@GnomeSlice eh it's actually working with a stitched version of some of the combinations you can get from Luftrausers and apparently the looping is slightly off from perfection

a little tuning goes a long way.
