Hey everyone!
It's PROJECT UPDATE THURSDAY!
Share your current/recently finished projects, horror stories, humor stories, and tips and tricks here. :D

3 hours later…
16:04
I'm going afk 'cause it's lunchtime
bbl lunch!

1 hour later…
17:16
I return! :D
18:03
@SteveJackson @auujay what's shaking? :D
18:39
@AarthiDevanathan my keyboard was, thanks to a rousing round of babysmash
@SteveJackson babysmash! the cutest smash!
Ha! Luckily my dictator is usually pleasant (because he gets what he wants)
benevolent dictatorships often characterize families. who does the dictating, though, varies....
I rank somewhere between the dog and the cats in the hierarchy I think.
oh dear.
@SteveJackson here's something for the babysmash:
19:04
Love the martians, good time!
man i loved the yipyips
Sesame Street on demand is amazing. To think we had to wait 23 hours to see a show again.
ffs! i had to wait A WHOLE DAY in my youth
but there's more good programming for kids now, period
Phineas and Ferb!
We're stuck on oomi zoomi right now.
oh my god that show
it's so....weird
so many COLORS
19:15
The smasher loves counting. The robot is Joe from Blues Clues. My wife told me that the other day and I've been wondering how I never figured that out given the 9000 hours I've watched of both.
i always forget how bright kids' shows are
.......:O
with the belly belly belly screen?!
that JOE?
Exactly.
jfc that....my mind is splodey
oh god so creepy
i preferred Barney, Sesame Street, Mr Roger's, and uh Arthur when I was a bit older
i was a PBS kid for a LONG time
19:26
I prefer PBS, generally sesame street, but smashy doesn't like the new ones as much - not enough letters and numbers. I can't wait until it's no longer 105 degrees after work and we can go outside again.
@SteveJackson outside! outside is the best side.
and yes, the new ones aren't as numbers/letter-y
19:56
@AarthiDevanathan have you thought about working something with lifehacker? Their DIY is usually a little different than ours, but they have huge readership and are savvy internet users.
....ooooh.
i like that
I could see sponsoring something, writing a guest article on how to use diy stackexchange, or maybe just pointing one of their editors to a few best-of questions. If we got the blog going we could send them how-to articles a bit more naturally - they seem to feature instructables pretty often.
20:16
i'm starring that for posterity :D

1 hour later…
21:20
adios, DIY! I'll see everyone on monday
