@jmusser, re the weather here. Whoever says it rains all the time has probably been to Manchester, where it does seem to rain an awful lot. Driest part of the country is the south east, East Anglia, Essex and London included in that, where we often suffer drought in summer.
@jmusser; we usually get about 8 days of settled weather - that might mean 8 days of rain and wind, and then 8 days of sunny and dry. It is changing now though, as it is everywhere, with climate change - much, much more windy than it used to be, and thunderstorms in winter, unheard of previously.
@jmusser: I don't mind the wind too much, it clears the pollution, the worst is hot, humid, still weather which means the pollution is appalling, and I'm not that far from Heathrow, so its worse here. Quite often I'm praying for rain to clean the air.
