@rolfl alright i finished censoring it

If you are looking at the graphs.... they are weekly numbers

also, the reason of such vulgarity is that it was for a troll org irc lol

so roughly 140/7 = 20 = ~66% of daily questions get answered within 24hours?

yeah, it is a huge amount of code, lots, and lots of repetitions.... once you have it cleaned up , gotten rid of ALL the junk, and neatened (lint) the code....
then you will likeley get a review that says "Extract functions!".

Hey @200_success

Hi!
@200_success any thoughts on the 100 days post?

You forgot about Best Of CR 2013 already?

Oh, there's plenty that I forgot about - feel free to add, this should be CW :)

@Mat'sMug I am about to add a comment to the 'How is code review doing' from GN with a link to the 100-day post... When I do, she'll get pinged... then I though, check with @Mat before doing that

@rolfl you have my blessing?

hmm this java8 code is awesome, weird and more things at the same time, I'll upload it in a bit...
okay @amon
is it 'allowed' to post code via pastebin here in chat? I don't feel like filling up the whole chat with a piece of code
I like that with Java8 you can define default methods in interfaces, and later in a subinterface revoke that default method
if someone wants to see an interesting piece of code: pastebin.com/xtdvs8Hx

Is a question asking to know if the code is working as expected on-topic ? codereview.stackexchange.com/questions/42893/…

8:57 PM
Welcome to the fuzzy margins of CR.
It works for a given definition of works... I think
How badly does it have to work before it is called broken?

@Marc-Andre that's fairly borderline. However, code can appear to be working correctly while it's actually not. Especially with async stuff… I'd leave it open

Welcome to CR! Quick question: to the best of your knowledge, does the code work as expected? (just to make sure) — Mat's Mug 6 secs ago

Also, you can just ask the asker .... ^^^^

too bad you can't answer the answerer...

I'm reviewing it in the first post queue, I wanted to have a feed back on it.
@rolfl Well that would be next step knowing that it is borderline!

9:00 PM
In reality, even if things don't always work, but there's enough working stuff to review, you can review the working stuff, and skip the broken stuff. Also, you can point out the bugs as part of the review.
The most borderline ones sometimes turn out to be the most popular, and useful.

I think it's not so much about skipping the borked parts, than "you don't post here to get your borked code fixed - we don't do that"

Good I've stared it to check back later and act upon it if needed!

I did one this morning that was probably more off-topic than on, but the code was such a mess I felt the guy had to get some real advice....

He pointed out a possible bug, I think it deserves a +1

I'm still on the fence.
As I say, 'now what'.... I think the question deserves more.... it does not answer the key concerns of the asker.

The answer looks more of an answer made on SO than Code Review.

@rolfl I agree, but it's still better than nothing

@rolfl I hate that button. I thought about wrinting a greasemonkey script to hide it.

@Mat'sMug - that button that used to be there, gone!

hmm they did change something

The button is now orange, instead of yellow, and it is to the left of your badge/rep, instead of the right
